These protectors work wonders and are absolutely water proof! My toddlers have wet the bed at night multiple times, spilled their water and even daddy's coffee on these and the mattresses were unaffected! I got the COTTON TERRY TOP in twin for their beds about a year ago and returned recently to get them in queen for all our beds in the house; I wasn't satisfied until I replaced all previous "protectors" I wasted money on. They are thin and comfortable, fit securely over all edges of the beds and do not shed in the washer/dryer like others I have purchased. Apparently it didn’t work for some but it’s totally waterproof for me. My Boston tends to have accidents and I was worried it would go into my mattress but nope, it’s all good! Fabric is a nice terry cloth, the backside feels plastic but it doesn’t make any noise. Only downside is it takes forever to dry; about 40 minutes. (Most my clothes are dry in 20-22 min). I give it 4.5/5. Still recommend for sure. ... show more

Got this to protect our bed for a home birth. Kept it on the bed permanently cause it works really well keeping the mattress dry and clean. Soft under the top sheet so you don’t get that slippery plastic feel. Easy to wash.

Very waterproof as I've spilled a drink in bed and it did not go through. Also, it's very soft and you can not feel it under sheets. Washes up well and I dried on very low and it didn't pucker or lose shape. Sides of mattress is not protected if that's a concern.
