If you are injured or a parent this will serve you well. I suffer from tarsal tunnel in my left foot/ankle and have a really hard time with pain. Many times walking outside has been problematic in that my pain flares and when I am blocks from home- having to walk through the pain home further aggravates and worsens my condition. With this walking pad - I can be at home and am able to quickly get off when the pain starts and able to avoid exasperating the problem more. I purchased the Timber Trek walking pad to get exercise while working. This little walking pad does not disappoint. I purchased the wooden one, and it is sleek and sturdy. I have used it now every day for a week. I like that it can only go up to 3.8 mph. But I likely won't use it at that level for the purposes of using it during working hours. The only issue i have is that the weight limit is set to 198lbs, which is low. However, this machine is so sturdy that I don't think it will be a problem for me. I have been using this product for about a month now. So far it is working great! I'm 74 and was not in very good shape. I'm up to 35 minutes three times a week and have seen drastic changes. I feel 100% better and will continue to use it in my workout routine. For older people who are on fixed incomes and can't afford a huge machine with bad reviews this product is what you need.     • Lifepro Timber Trek Is A Great Little Treadmill
I was able to add a significant amount of walking to my daily routine using the Lifepro Timber Trek because it's not a fussy product that takes a lot of set-up; I easily adjusted the trek using the instructions and tool provided, and I normally leave that for the husband but I was able to do it myself. The Timber Trek is sleek looking with wood trim, and it's not too long, and has low-design for storing under something; I keep it stored under the bed - it has transport wheels on one end, so I roll it out from under the bed, plug it in and go, and roll it back under the bed when I'm done, without any fuss... There aren't a lot of buttons to press to make it start/stop/adjust speed, just a nice plain remote, nothing confusing. I appreciate the Timber Trek more than I thought I would because I can get extra walking in on bad weather days. The Timber Trek didn't make any loud noises or squeaks and ran smoothly... I recommend Lifepro Timber Trek portable treadmill, esp if you're looking for something smaller, sturdy, simple and easily stored. ... show more
