I have used this three times so far and really enjoy being able to us it on my sofa. I have a Serene Life IR sauna that's a stand up, closet-like sauna and I use that sometimes as well. It's very difficult to manipulate the zippers on this once you are inside. They do not feel like they are high quality. Time will tell how they hold up. Once you are inside, you will definitely need to wrap a large towel around your neck or the heat will escape through the top. The zippers at the shoulders when closed still leave a lot of air between your neck and the zipper closure, so a towel is crucial. It definitely feels like the lower part of the bag is much hotter than the top. It does not seem as hot as the remote reports. I can't really figure it out. My Serene Life sauna has 3 heat panels and is about the same width as this blanket (but has more space inside since it's closet-like) but if I put that sauna at 140, I am absolutely soaked within 20 minutes. Putting this blanket at 140 does not feel nearly as hot and I don't sweat much at all so I have to jack it over 150 to feel it. Before I got it, I could not imagine needing to put it above 140 due to my experience with the other sauna but wow, the difference in heat is amazing. At least this one goes higher than 140. If that was the max, I would have returned it immediately because it definitely does not feel like it gets up to temperature. The remote control is a bit weirdly designed. It is attached to the bottom corner of the bag and has a short cord to the outlet attached to the bottom of the hand held remote. The top of the remote has a long wire attached, however, you cannot extend that wire much because you are limited by short cable to the outlet. It's very strange. I've noticed that the remote can get warm while using this blanket. I put it on a table next to me when using it so it's not on a heated surface or anything. Some reviews show pics of melted remotes. Hopefully, those were just one off situations and it won't be a problem. The above are lengthy comments but not dealbreakers so I will be keeping it and don't think a three star rating is fair. I bought a pop up steam sauna along with this because I wanted the best of both worlds without taking up space in my small condo. This doesn't get super hot, but it does make you sweat which is exactly what I was looking for. It sort of feels like a heating pad all across your body which is just an incredible feeling. I love the arm holes so you can do things while you sweat. I can literally sit in this thing for an hour or more. When I get out I'm just drenched in sweat. This is a great product and I'm happy to have found it. It comes with a lifetime warranty if you register the blanket which is nice. I haven't used the warranty so I don't know how legit it is, but something to mention. If you're looking for something really hot this might not be for you. There are sauna suits you can wear that I am going to try out with this to see if it makes a big difference. If you have the money I think it pairs well with a popup steam sauna. My steam sauna gets me really hot this product makes me sweat so that's why I think it's a good pairing. One thing I wanted to mention in this review is the emf. The amount of emf this produces is not anything higher than things we have in our house (like computers and cell phones). When I ordered this I barely knew anything about emf so it concerned me. Fortunately if you dig into it emf it's nothing concerning on lower levels like this. I think whatever harm it could possibly do would pale in comparison to the benefits it provides. Sweating is how our bodies detoxify. The benefits of saunas are insane and everyone should have one. The concept of a sauna blanket is genuis and I'm tempted to get one for everyone I know now. ... show more

I love the blanket! I’ve used it multiple times. Highest heat setting is great and not too hot. You would think that it isn't hot enough, but trust that it is doing its job. The foil wraps are great. I used the blanket with the foil wrap and no clothes with no issues of it being too hot. Very relaxing and the control is awesome (my other sauna blanket had a huge control box with a short plug-in cord). The cord is long enough to plug in and operate while you are in the bag. I do wish the control was upside down so you could see it while in the bag - it faces away from you - but I just turn the control towards me. Oh, and the arm holes are a life saver! I can use my phone or laptop or even read while still keeping my upper body and shoulder fully inside the bag. I like that you can zip and unzip from inside the blanket I nearly fell asleep in it and the was a ton of water in the foil wrap too. I will hang it up in the shower to dry and reuse it a few times. You can wipe down with a damp cloth and a little alcohol, or a wet wipe. ... show more

I got this for my arthritis/joint/muscle issues and wanted an affordable option to a stand alone Sauna & because I love dry and infrared saunas, heat helps. I have used this 3 times so far. Good stuff: It is easy to get ready, warms up quick & stores well under bed frame without taking up too much space. I personally like it hot in Saunas so I used both the middle range and higher range temps and it got quite hot which was satisfying. I haven't used the foil type liners yet, just light fitted clothing. I am small (5ft) so I could literally slide in and cover my head if I want to which is nice because I can lay on my side with room to move if I wish instead of just on my back which adds to my comfort. Not so good: It is a bit awkward to zip into and out of around shoulders and slots for arms, so I would suggest once heated get arm slots unzipped and ready before sliding in to make that easier. I will say too the zippers are not super comfortable for the arm slots when arms are out for reading or phone use. Perhaps they could add a soft liner around zipper area or try a velcro like option for more comfort, it certainly would not effect the heat escaping much. That is really my only complaint so far. ... show more
