These are great, probably over-priced but what are you going to do when you find bargain-bin prices for used pool fencing? My answer: buy more, hah! You don't need the guide, use your common sense and you'll get "the lean" perfect -- hammer drill is absolutely required, though.

They fit very snug, which is what you want! We bought a used safety pool fence from someone and needed sleeves. These worked great. You do need to make sure the holes you drill are very cleaned out and may need to pound the sleeves in a bit. My husband was a little rough the first time and broke a sleeve. Product is not the same as original sleeve and cap that came with original fence! The original must also be replaced because this cap doesn’t fit it is to wide. Also sleeve doesn’t have groove around like the original that came with fence, allowing it to slip out of hole easier. The reason I bought the product was to easily replace lost caps now I have to replace the whole sleeve as well and match this cap with that same sleeve every time I remove fence!
