No real quality difference from the Tactacam Solo. Claims to have more stable picture quality during shots. I really didn’t see much of a difference when comparing on my bow with lighted nocks, etc. The BIG SELL on this one is the view screen on the top of the camera. It’s waterproof which is an upgrade. Had to also buy all of the attachments for bow mount, etc…in hindsight, I wish I’d left well enough alone. We’ll see what type of footage I collect this hunting season. ... show more

Tactacam doesn't have an app for this product using newer phones. I have a Samsung Galaxy A52. Not exactly bleeding edge technology. 3-year old phone. The instructions tell you to download the "Tactacam Connect" app to configure/view the camera while online. The message said my phone was too new. Then, when I reached out to Tactacam about my issue, this is what they wrote, "This is Sara with Tactacam and Reveal thanks for reaching out! Sadly, the Tactacam Connect app is only available on older phones or tablets." Bummer. ... show more

    • no new firmware but camera works fine
for the user saying newer phones dont work. I have a iphone 16 pro works fine. The support for this product tho is lacking. Trying to see if newer firmware is available. the site doesn't even show the 6.0 cameras new or older. i can get a manual, but no mention of firmware and no sign of it on their site. Other wise it works fine, wifi no issues connects right up. records nicely for what i want. after shot hit placement and reaction. I mount it to my crossbow, shotgun and black powder w/o issue ... show more
