Works well as a knockoff brand wall mount plug in C power source for wireless thermosts. They come at a good price. I will attempt to run multiple thermostats with a single wall wort which would not only cut down of cost but also potentially run a single power wire to serve multiple devices without the need of running 2 separate new wires to each device being powered.

This transformer does not work for Ring Battery Doorbell Plus. Unfortunately, after going through the trouble of running the transformer wire under several feet of baseboard, drilling a hole through the front wall and attaching the wire to my ring batter doorbell plus, plugging in the transformer, only to discover that it didn't work. I monitored it for several days but the battery charge continued to decline. Fortunately, I found this transformer (https://a.co/d/j0lWTWH) . I was then able to cut the original transformer off the wire, leaving the original wire in place, that ran under the baseboard and through the wall. I then attatched the new transformer to the original wire, plugged in the transformer and it worked! The battery charge is now increasing everyday! I was so happy to find a transformer that doesn't have the wire already attached. Update/4-29-25: The battery charge on my ring battery doorbell Plus now stays at 100% with this new Transformer hooked to it.

I got a great deal on a wired video doorbell, then had to figure out how to make it work because my house is not wired for a doorbell. So, I searched for an alternative. This is it! The video doorbell is secured by my door and the thin, easy to camouflage wire is perfect to run through the door frame or a window. I LOVE not having to disconnect and bring the doorbell inside to charge as I had to do with the battery powered model! Definitely worth the money!
