I've been grooming my dogs at home for over 50 years. I currently have 4 Havanese that I groom at home. I have several of these type of small clippers. Most have a much smaller blade on the front then this one. I wasn't sure how I would like this one with the larger blade but I ended up liking it very much. One of my dogs is 25 pounds and very scared of grooming. This clipper is extremely quiet. It has a large blade and while it can't get into the small areas of the inner paws as well as some clippers, it can do the base of the paws very well and also can do the sanitary areas very well, plus areas like under the armpits that are hard to reach with full size clippers. It has two speeds and both speeds are very quiet. It would have been helpful to have a light on it. It's a bit large for doing near the eyes on small dogs. It is a great addition to my array of clippers that I use. I think for the price it should have had a light and possible a carry case to hold the accessories.

I used this on my cat who recently got a little bit of matted fur. I was a little worried as it's my first time using this with him. I was able to get a little bit of the matted fur, as the sound caught his attention. It is low noise, but I wish it were just a bit lower. Overall, I do like it and I will continue to try getting the mats out.

Nice little pet trimmer. Cuts o.k. for light duty trimming. Not for thick dog hair. Quickly charges through included USB cord. When charged red indicator light turns to green. Comes with cleaning brush and lubricating oil. Nice that it's low noise to not bother the dog while using. Has 2 speed control. Got it to trim my dog's paw and ear hair. Does a pretty good job.

Good basic paw clippers. The noise is very minimal and my dog was not startled or anxious around the clipper and it's low grade buzzing noise. Instructions are very basic and sparse. To use the oil, get a safety pin to puncture a small hole to make an opening. The little bottle is only about half full. I wish there were instructions on how to clean the clipper blade more thoroughly rather than just using the little brush (which is included) to brush out the clipped fur.

This trimmer has 2 speeds and is very quiet. I am using on one of my kitty cats to trim her butt area fur. I needed something quiet and so she wouldn't notice what I was doing. She was a bit squeamish at first but she got use to it. I like that it is rechargeable.

This is a nice little groomer that can get into and around the tight spots (face, feet, ears) to do that clipping or touch up that a big clipper won't do, and where you don't want to go with a scissor. It's not going to remove tons of hair, the blade is only about a half an inch wide, so it can get in and around the toe/foot pads, or around facial areas easily. It's got nice rounded edges and because the blade is very small toothed, there really aren't any sharp edges. I will use this for facial hair on a friends dog that needs to be clipped around here eyes/nose (we've been using an eyebrow clipper, but it doesn't work that well). This doesn't have a light, but neither does my other clipper and I usually just wear a headlamp when I'm working on the dogs so I don't have to worry about being able to see well. Rechargeable, which is really nice; runs quietly too. For the price, this is a great little tool for grooming! I had a triangular, hard-side glasses case that I was able to use for storage, so I can put this into my "tool" bag with my other grooming supplies.

I like this small clipper a lot. It works perfectly for getting around the pads of the paws. I have an Andi's small, rechargeable clipper and it doesn't do anywhere near as well as this one does! It's smaller than the Andi's clipper too, so I'm able to maneuver around the pads much easier. The Andi's clipper has a light, whereas this one doesn't, but frankly, I always clip my dogs in a well lit area anyway, so I didn't miss the light not being there. It is much quieter than the Andi's clipper, so it doesn't scare my dog when using it. What's even better is that it stays charged longer than the Andi's clipper too! I can't say enough good things about this clipper. I love it!

Whisper quiet, I can only tell it's on by the slight vibration in my hand or if I hold it right next to my ear. It didn't disturb my dog at all when I trimmed the hair around her paws. It has a one size cutting head (about 3/4"), so it's not a total groomer but only designed for the delicate areas. And there aren't any attachments to keep track of. The teeth are not pointy so no worries about digging in to the skin while using it. It will take some practice to get your technique just right but when you do you'll love the results.
