I was looking for a replacement pair and found these that have the important features I was looking for. 1. I wanted hearing aids that DID NOT have rechargeable batteries, that would need to be recharged EVERY NIGHT. The cost of the 312 batteries is minimal compared to the cost of having to REPLACE a rechargeable aid when the internal battery will no longer hold a charge. My yearly battery cost is only about 35 dollars vs having to replace a rechargeable aid in the typical 3-4 year lifespan that the internal rechargeable batteries would last. Using the 312 batteries, I control the "working life" of the batteries and I can have INSTANT power renewal with a simple battery change-out. The 312 batteries last me 10 days on average which provides a good service life vs rechargeables. If you forget to charge your aids overnight, EVERY NIGHT, you are S O L.... 2. I did NOT want a "receiver” in the canal type aid that has the "speaker" in the ear bud. When that plastic tube deteriorates, because IT WILL, you will have to replace a much more expensive part, (~50-100 bucks), vs a pair of "regular" ear tubes that cost only 3-5 dollars for a pair. Again, the receiver in the earbud WILL cost you MORE in the long run than the regular "air tube" of the common models. 3. These have a great phone app that walks you through setting up your aids with a built in hearing test that works VERY well in tuning each aid for your ears. Although the Blu Tooth communication does not let you stream music or receive phone calls, TOUGH ;-) .. You can adjust each aid INDIVIDUALLY if you so choose in the volume or mode setting and when you may press a button on the aid itself, its change is shown in the app. You would normally have both aids set to the SAME "listening mode", but, that option is available. Today's price of $299, makes these aids a great buy as my cost in June of 23 was $799... IF you are thinking about buying hearing aids, these will serve you very well at a VERY reasonable cost.... BOTTOM LINE - Whatever aids you may buy, DO NOT BUY THE RECHARGEABLE MODELS... THEY WILL BE "THROW-A-WAY" AIDS IN JUST SEVERAL YEARS WITH THE NECESSARY **DAILY** CHARGING... You have been "cautioned" ;-)

These hearing aids stopped working almost 6 weeks after purchase. I called Lexie tech help several times and could not get through and left a message for a callback, which never came. Finally spoke to someone today only to be told the warranty is for 45 days, not a year. They are a waste of money .

I started losing my hearing about 15 years ago. I could not, and can not, afford $5,000 hearing aids. My first pick was the Bose hearing device. They hung around your neck, and looked funky. But they worked great. These lasted about 10 years until they broke. My next purchase was the Bose BTE hearing aids. These did not have the volume I needed, even at 100 percent. I still have those as a back up. I ordered a pair of Lexie hearing aids, hoping they might be better. Indeed they are. Much better. They are slightly bigger than the Bose. But not much. They don't have Bluetooth technology, and the app is horrible. But I can hear as well as I ever could. 45 day free trial. I think you will keep them. OH..... Lexie advertises these for $499.00 I bought mine o n Amazon(sold by Lexi) for $299.00. Best money I have spent. Update; I have had these for about a year now. I am still well pleased with the performance. Occasionally one aid will not perform. But a run through with the little wire takes care of that. The app still sucks. Sometimes it does nothing. The only way to get it working again is to delete the app and reinstall it. But that's the only downside. If these went out, I would buy another set tomorrow.

I bought these for my son.. they worked for about 6 months and then one of them stopped working.. could not find anyone to repair and Lexie would not help.. I would not recommend

Still on my 45 day grace period and I'm going to keep these. I had trouble making out dialog on TV ( yes subtitles are great) could no longer hear birds tweeting ( missed that) And I can hear my wife..a little better ( but she's a " low talker anyway). It's a nice set of aids with its own hearing test included to give you the best possible experience. Different ear adjusters for different size heads. Cleaning brush and cleaning wire to keep the aids working their best and an extensive owners manual and phone numbers in case you need to contact the company. I'm impressed with these hearing aids and for the money you can't beat them. Consumer Reports gave them a good grade..and that's good enough for .me

Bought a pair of hearing aids and returned them because they failed to work properly and Lexie customer support totally dropped the ball. The left hearing aid failed to sync with the Lexie app. I literally went through the sync process 8-9 times. I contacted Lexie support, we were on the phone for 30 minutes troubleshooting, and we quit when the Lexie app indicated that I was trying to sync a non-Lexie product. The rep said he'd "escalate" my case and contact me with a solution in 2 days. I never heard back. I then tried to set up the right hearing aid. It had synced with the Bluetooth in my iPhone (it's all phone-based). However, when I did the hearing evaluation test in the Lexie app, which calibrates the hearing aid settings based on your responses, the test failed 3 times. There is no way to start using the hearing aid without valid test results. So I started a return.
