So I got these for my dad to try out to see if it would help. He has a lot of hearing loss left ear. The devices themselves look really good, very minimal in size, and I love how it has Bluetooth functionality. I have a little hearing loss in one year and I gave it a shot. And it has multiple tips to wear. It can fit pretty well in your ear. It does have an app that allows you to take a hearing test, which will then find to the audio, which is awesome. From that app, you can more easily control in fine detail. What sound setting you want. For instance it has a conversation mode and an awareness mode I think it was called? One is supposed to set them so it more easily focuses on words from people and then another one is set so you can hear things better in the whole room. I did notice the difference, but pretty much kept it on normal. It does have a manual button on the back, which is very tiny, but that allows you to turn the hearing aids up and down as well as turning them off Most of the time, though you will just put them back in the charging case to turn them off. They didn’t feel super comfortable in the ear, but it does say the documentation after while you get used to it. I will say having use AirPods for a long time, I don’t even notice those are in my ear anymore so I could see how that would be true The only downside, is that if you have any hair right around where it sits on your ears as you move, the mic seems to just pick up the bristly hair sounds of your hairs. And I couldn’t figure out a way around that. So if the seller reaches out and gives me a idea, I will definitely change this to five stars cause that is the only thing holding it back in my opinion

The sound quality is very good, I am hearing things I didn’t realize I was missing. The sound enhancement versus direct "blast it out of your head" amplification is helpful. The noise reduction helps minimize background distractions, making conversations more enjoyable. They seemed comfortable for me, and the battery life was pretty good. The app provides customization options, including a built-in hearing test that tailors settings to my specific hearing profile. It was confusing at first, but I was able to keep playing around with it to get it where it was helpful for me. The price is high, though - almost $1K high. It's nice that it says "Bose technology" but the sound is similar to my "white earbuds from a major computer / phone manufacturer" that are much more reasonably priced. And the utility for those said ear buds seems to rival what these hearing aids do. For that they are, these ar pretty good hearing aids. But they are expensive. Way too expensive. Watch for sales and price reductions - a lower cost would make them a good alternative to prescription hearing aids - IN MY OPINION (and I'm not a doctor!)

I bought this product for my mom, hoping it would be great, especially considering the high price. Unfortunately, it didn’t make a big difference. She’s still having trouble hearing us and often relies on reading our lips during conversations. We were really hoping for better results. Unfortunately I can not send the item back as I have sent it to another country. My mom lives in Europe .

I've been using my Lexie B2 Plus OTC hearing aids for 2 months and I love them! My hearing test results are pretty typical for someone in his early 70s like I am, and these aids are exactly what I need. I have tried a half dozen other OTC aids, some less than 1/5 the price of these Compared to my Lexie aids, those others seem like toys. In this case, you definitely do get what you paid for! A big thing that differentiates Lexie from their competitors is their rewards program, which is free of charge. It does earn real rewards that can be redeemed for free supplies, but it's biggest value is that it educates the user on what to expect from their new aids and how to get the most benefit from them. Supporting that program is Lexie's 7-days-a week availability of their experts via in-app chat, by phone, or by email. I initially didn't appreciate the usefulness of the app but I quickly found it to be well designed. The included hearing test gave me a good starting point for the volume and tone controls and I've learned a lot by experimenting with those settings, which I encourage all users to do. These aids are MFi (Made For iPhone) certified and they've been working flawlessly with my iPhone. I urge Lexie's developers to create an Apple Watch extension for the app - being able to adjust the aids via my Apple Watch would allow me to control them even more discretely than on my iPhone. A feature whose usefulness has surprised me is the streaming of calls from my iPhone to my Lexie aids, which has really been quite helpful. My Lexie aids are super comfortable to wear, even with my glasses on, and I quickly forget they're in my ears. What they provide isn't so much a matter of louder sound, but rather fuller sound, and I no longer use subtitles on my TV. Speech is easier to understand, and when I'm in my backyard it sounds like I'm in a bird sanctuary - I had no idea what I had been missing. To conclude, I highly recommend Lexie's B2 Plus OTC hearing aids for anyone looking for help with their mild to moderate hearing loss.
