We used theses in this year's marching band props. They held large pieces of coroplast to an upright frame. The coroplast had 2 hard plastic hoops at the top to secure it but needed a way to secure them on the bottom that also needed to be removable with each set up and use. We used 2 of these zip ties per 4X8 sheet of coroplast. They were frequently subjected to high winds. We needed to be able to remove them after each use, which resulted in each zip tie being well used over 50 times. We had 2 partially break with only 1 breaking completely out of the roughly 25-30 that we needed for our props. I have had so many compliments on these and directed everyone to this product. For me, the release tab seemed wimpy. I like to pull these ties at tight as possible. If you have the tie very tight, the release tab material seemed not stiff enough to release from the teeth because the tab is tightly "biting/engaged" into the teeth, the release tab/arm would "bend". If not very tight, it does release easily. On the positive side, it is very secure! On the negative side, the security somewhat defeats the purpose of the release tab (if you have it pulled really tight). So, I think for general purpose, it performs very well.
