I've had a couple of chargers for my Chevy Volt. I only needed a basic charger and this one give me more features than I need. None of these features have gotten in the way though. The charger cable is noticeably heavier duty than any of the others I've had. The cord is VERY thick. The connector is also a cut above other chargers I've had. The catch appears to be metal rather than plastic like the others. The display could be a nice feature but honestly the car does all the management of the electricity so it's not that helpful. I'm really happy with this quality charger and would recommend it to others!

I only have 110 outlet. I tried to use 16 amps but it's maxing out at 12 amps. This is probably due to the fact that I have a 15 amp circuit breaker. The device plugs in to the outlet and charges my Tesla. The build quality seems OK. Ovearll, a good charger for a backup. 16 amp is very weak for a modern car though. I strongly recommend you get at lest a 32 amp model.

The nice thing about this charger is you can configure the charging current in case your charger draws a bit too much power from your wall's circuit. When powered on, the charger has a set time before the timer expires, here you can change the charging current as well as the charging timer though the middle button. Charging on both 10A and 16A worked pretty well. The only minor downside was there's nowhere to clip the cover for the charger's connector (the RAV4 Prime's included charger has a clip on the protective cover where you can clip it to the charger's cable instead of letting it dangle). The charger itself also felt a bit too light, and the carrying box is a little bit too small for the cable, but at this point I'm just nitpicking Not sure about the pricing since at the time of this review it's "currently unavailable". However functionally, not a bad charger.

Nice Ev charger. This charger is exactly what I expected and its as described as well. The quality is great, and it has a nice length to it as well. Its super reliable, easy to set up and to start using. Love it so far.

I have two 14-50 plugs in my garage, but one of them is on a sub-panel with limited amps, but it's more conveniently located for charging our Polestar 3. With a 6-20 adapter, this charger works well, and it's limited to 16A so it won't over-run our sub-panel. I can use my other 14-50 for 40A charging when I want to run a long extension cord across the garage, but for just daily charging, we use this. It comes with a nice case and a 110-120V standard plug adapter. The cable is quite long at almost 25 feet. I did find the user manual to be a bit confusing, and the amperage and timer settings are a bit un-intuitive, but for me, once set to 16A, it's a set it and forget it adapter for us.

Most EVs or Plug-In HEVs come from the dealer with a standard charge cable that can plug into standard 110VAC or 240VAC. This Portable EV Charger will replace that standard cable to provide a lot more insight into the charging process, and also provide some protections that the standard charge cable may not. The display shows the state of the current charge session, including the energy that has been put into the battery. Safety features include overvoltage protection, undervoltage protection, overcurrent protection, leakage protection, overtemperature protection, charging port abnormality protection, and grounding reminder. Input voltage is supported from 110-240VAC, and I really like that there is an included adapter to turn the NEMA6-20 Plug (240VAC) into a NEMA 5-15 Plug (110VAC). This charger is not connected...it would have been great if this supported WiFi and included a phone app...that would allow remote monitoring, notification when the charge session is complete, and historical record of prior charge sessions. I really appreciate the long, heavy duty cable! Also, the included hard shell case is awesome to safely store the charger and keep tidy in the trunk of your car! Great value for this portable charger.
