I've been using this for a year and no problems. It is used inside, so I don't know how well the control box works under severe weather conditions. It is very handy to have the ability to change the ampere settings. I have mine set to 20A since I have seen many comments on YouTube about how the big-box-store Nema outlets may be rated for 30A but they don't last long at the rated amperage. If you get a chance, be sure to use a Hubble or other high quality outlet. I also use a short converter cable to be able to plug it into an existing 3 prong 30A outlet, which works great.

Excellent 32A Level 2 Charger includes a scheduler: — Touch ‘one button’ briefly to TOGGLE or select between options, including amperage — Hold down ‘one button’ for 3 seconds to ENTER — Many electric cars 🚙 and plug 🔌 in hybrids 🚘 have a ‘floating ground’. Working great on a Toyota bz4x as well as an ioniq 5. Great value compared to buying from Toyota dealership. Easy to get a dryer 240 plug installed in your house and this has worked flawlessly for half a year now would definitely recommend.

It will get you out of a bind and is worth having with you when traveling as a backup. Notes: L2 charging into truck turns off outlets so you can’t charge another vehicle at the same time as charging the truck. Able to get 32amps out of the truck into the car. L1 charging the truck will only get you 12amps. Extremely slow when charging a cybertruck. 2-3mph. If it is cold, you may loose a charge instead of gaining due to the heater attempting to keep the batteries warm. You can turn of sentry mode to save some energy when in a pinch.

This charger seems to charge my Chevy Bolt EV faster than the factory provided cord; however, I checked my current range before and after plugging this charger into my vehicle. When plugged in, I immediately lost 10 miles of range. This range has not come back, even when using other chargers.
