Y'all i never want to take this dress off. I'm 5'5 and 181lb,I'm not a small woman and i was so nervous with purchasing this dress. But i took the chance and ordered the large. When i got it in and put it on it literally fit me like a glove. The top fabric is stretchy and fit my curves and didn't make me look or feel uncomfortable. My mom had a slip from her wedding dress that she let me have and it made the dress the perfect puffiness. I will have to wear heels as the dress does touch the ground and I'm okay with that. After reading reviews for this and many other costumes, I decided to try this one out. I was so pleased with the fit and quality of this costume! The dress is a nice weight and is very comfortable (much more so than the cheap ones from costume stores). I teach Kindergarten and was wearing my costume all day at work and then also in the evening to hand out candy. I was so comfortable and had no issues except that I left a little glitter everywhere I went that day! Lol. I got a TON of compliments on the costume and how nice it looked. I definitely look forward to purchasing additional costumes from this same company in the future! I am really particular about fit because I am very curvy and don’t like things to be super fitted or tight. This dress was so stretchy and also very soft for a costume. I purchased the XL in this and probably would have been fine with the next size down. For reference/sizing help, I usually wear a 12 in jeans and a L or XL in tops. I’m 5’6” and about 200lbs. I couldn’t believe the detail and shape was so flattering to my mom bod! I wear a large or XL and so I decided to get a large and it fits me a little snug but still great! Going by their size chart, I would be a Medium (I'm a size 10). I know how it is with costumes, though, so I ordered a Large. It is a little big on me, but comfortable, not enough where I would need to size back down. So most likely a medium would have been snug. This is a very pretty costume! It's all a one piece, and it's a very nice weight/material. I already have a petticoat from a previous costume, and that truly completes the look. Wouldn't say a petticoat is necessary, but if you want the bottom to be 'poofy', a petticoat would be necessary. Luckily, the zipper works well and the headband is in perfect condition. I am 5’8” and 174lbs, 34DDD, and have about a 26in waist, I got a size M. I prob could have squeezed into the S too but the M is not baggy at all. This dress is most definitely for tall people. I’m wearing 4inch heels and the dress still hits the ground. I’m honestly amazed. I should have ironed it but it’s still so perfect. The glitter does get everywhere but I’m so happy with the dress that I don’t care. I didn’t like the crown so I ordered another one off of Amazon. Here’s a link to the Crown and Earings I got.
