  • Awesome robo vac. Very powerful and it's easy on the furniture
Color: Black
The robo vac is one of the best I've found. It provides powerful cleaning. It learns the rooms fairly quickly and I love the auto-emptying base station. It easily handles pet hair, dust, and debris from hardwood and tile and has carpet auto-boost to crank up the power for carpet cleaning. It has a dust bag in the self-emptying base that holds quite a bit of dust and debris, so no need to empty the bin daily. It scans and maps the house to customize my cleaning routines. This is about the 6th robo vac I’ve owned. I have a 2-story house, so needed robo vacs for the upstairs as well. Of all the robo vacs I’ve had, this is by far the best of the bunch. ... show more

  • I kind of love it! I kind of love it!
Color: White
So I have been an iRobot user for a long time and since my units last long I never really jumped into their LiDAR mapping smart units before. Just dumb bumping into everything robots worked 100% for me. When I decided to move up after seeing a family member using a newer iRobot Roomba Vacuum and Mop combo with auto emptying dock. I figured why not. I used IR towers to set boundaries with the old Roomba's the new ones map the house so I was looking forward to the upgrade. I didn't go with iRobot for several reasons. The big reasons that stood out for me was the low reviews it was getting (when comparing similar models) on every platform (Walmart Amazon, etc.) and the price for such a low review. Another point already mentioned was the high price. Looking around I stumbled on this LeFant M2 Plus unit. Saw it was getting a more positive review and for the price I figured not much of a loss compared to iRobot's Roombas if things go south. Pros: - At its most basic it does what my old Roombas did. So not losing in that front. - It wets the floor. I know I know. Could that even be called mopping? Well I add a small bit of floor cleaner to it and with the mop pad it gives the floor a nice little pass. These robots are not designed to replace your good old elbow grease. But it does maintain things longer with less effort. - It maps the place well. Can't say I have issues with mapping system, I love it. - Maintenance is pretty straight forward and way easier than my old Roombas. But I did see iRobot also simplified their similar models. So I guess the Pro here is LeFant has it too. - Auto emptying docking tower. I really like this feature most. Did not enjoy emptying the waste bins on the older Roombas. Again similar to iRobots so for less you get same feature. - Another very nice feature on this model I did not see on iRobot's competitive model is a nearly no bumping method of maneuverability. LeFant M2 Plus has no bumper on the front. Instead it has a visor looking mask (Geordi La Forge if you know what I mean) with collision sensors. It really tries to avoid touching things. Fun to watch how cautious it acts. Saves on scuff marks. Though not entirely able to prevent a bump here or there it does try. - I can choose 3 levels of vacuum force and 3 levels of wetness for mopping. On iRobot there is no options it does only one from my understanding. At least the model my family has. Which sounds comparable to this units quiet mode (lowest power suction mode). I really enjoy the ability to choose. - Back to the map features, you can make cleaning zones and no go zones. You can custom define rooms when the auto system fails to ID room boundaries correctly. You can make schedules with several conditions. Even set the preferred order in which the house is cleaned. I set the furthest rooms to be cleaned first ending in the room the dock is located. Now it's not all sunshine and butterflies with this thing. Cons: - Similar to iRobot to remove the dirty mop pad you really need to get hands on. So have gloves if you're not a fan of touching dirty wet mops. - The mop tray has a wheel that is fixed on a single direction. When the unit turns you can hear that wheel scrapping along. Should be more like old school mouses with a track ball free floating. Could even offer maintenance access like the front wheel. - The unit failed to avoid falling down my stairs. 3 times now. To be fair 3 out of some 15 times is not bad. I have had my old Roombas also fall a few times. Seems standard to me. I stuck around to see why it was falling and witnessed the 3rd fall. With the mop installed the unit does a lot of extra movements like turning in circles, forward and back motions. While moving forward it avoided the drop but when it turned around it did some reverse maneuvers and just went over enough for it to lose balance and fall. It landed on a step enough to engage its wheels and dropped a few more steps. Little guy wanted to keep going if it wasn't for being upside down. Hope LeFant reads this and make changes to the programing to avoid reversing or making turns onto obstacles or falls. - iRobot suffers this flaw too. I'm not a fan of putting charging contacts near an area intended to get wet. The device reverses and contacts these metal prongs on the dock. There are metal contacts on the waste bin of the robot in the rear for those prongs. The waste bin doubles as a water container for mopping. When pouring water into the container I find it impossible to prevent water from spilling a little onto the bin. Usually traveling to the very near and exposed metal charging contact. On iRobot's similar unit I noticed the same design choice. Makes me wonder how intentional this was regarding longevity. The bins house more than just a plastic container in these models. Lots of electronics. - For me this is not a con but simply the limitations associated with what the unit does. But emptying the bin is a loud process that some may consider a deal breaker. Let me just say, it is no different to a regular vacuum cleaner. It lasts for a short while too. Just know the iRobot competitor does the same loud noise. - Removing the bin feels a little difficult. Doesn't slide out easily and there really is no guide rails or anything when trying to reinsert the bin. So you kind of spend a little bit on that. To me it isn't a big deal but more of a consideration for LeFant to address. I really can't think of anything else to say. Maybe a design change like attaching the mop to the bin instead or it's own separate notches. I think iRobot chose a better route for the mop but that's not to say this one doesn't work. This is a new unit for me so longevity will be something I revisit many moons from now. ... show more

  • So long Eufy, hello Lefant - connects via 5ghz
Color: Black
Got this because specs say it can connect via 5ghz to wifi - something few robots can do. As promised, the Lefant M2 Plus easily connected using 5ghz wifi. The vacuum is very powerful and cleans better than a pair of Eufy L50 SES's I previously had - which I had to throw away because they were impossible to setup and keep connected with 2.4ghz in my new house. Cons: The slot in the back of the robot where dirt gets sucked out of the robot when docked is very small and will get clogged if there’s a lot of dirt and/or dog hair in the bin. The first time I used the robot (while mapping) the slot got jammed up with debris and the bin didn’t clear. The initial mapping process is very slow - so slow I aborted it twice thinking something must be wrong. But nothing was wrong, what happens is the Lefant insists on ponderously grid cleaning each room it goes to during the mapping process. During the initial mapping process your Lefant will most certainly run out of battery life and you will have to wait for it to dock itself and recharge up to 80% before it continues on. After several attempts I finally got my small ranch home 67m^2 mapped in 90 minutes. 3+ hours if you include aborted attempts. Note: You can tell the mapping process is complete when you see the overall floor plan has been automatically subdivided into individual rooms. If you don't see a map with individual rooms, i.e., "room 1", "room 2", ect, indicated, then the mapping did NOT complete and you need to try again. Overall I am very happy with the robot and plan on buying a second one to do my basement level. ... show more

  • Very impressive. Love it.
Color: Black
This little robot is amazing. We named him Herman. My floors have never been cleaner. Such a relief to have him around. With the grandkids he’s a blessing. My 10 month old is mesmerized. It was so easy to set up. It must be on 2.4 with the WiFi. But we worked it out. I bought some extra bags, brushes, roller, filters and mop headed. It does come with some extras as well. Very reasonable. I have enough to last for at least a year for $25. Very impressive. It’s quiet. I run it about 2am. But I can also run it when I need it during the day. I have laminate. It actually has a shine to it. The app makes it easy to connect. Mapping the area was correct. Small and easy to place. ... show more

  • Vacuum ok, mop performance poor.
Color: Black
The vacuum función is fine, no real issues with that. The app is ok, a bit disorganized, but mostly works fine. The mop is pretty terrible. First of all, the water reservoir leaks, and is fidgety to put back in when the mop is installed. Aside from that, the mop does not do a very good job. It’s a poor design. Most of the time, the floor looks worse after using it. If you want it to work well, you have to clean a small area, and then manually wash the mop and reinstall it. Even then, it leaves streaks and marks all over the floor. The carpet detection feature also does not work very well, even when it’s enabled, it often tries to mop the carpet and gets stuck. I would return it, but unfortunately I am past the return window. ... show more

  • This Product Is Subpar & Not Worth It For Houses (As Opposed To Small Spaces), Seller Is Caring
Color: Black
I have had this product for about 2 months, but have only been using it about a month now, and my experience with this vacuum has not been pleasant. The vacuum might be good for studios, apartments, or other small spaces, but if you are intending to use this for a house, the product simply does not perform well. More specifically, if your intended house/area is 2,000 sq ft or more, this is not the product for that type of job. This vacuum performs considerably worse than cheaper models I have purchased in the past and there are too many "critical" things that make the vacuum an underwhelming, underperforming, overpriced machine. The important things that one typically looks for in a robot vacuum (which when not present makes the robot vacuum nothing more than another machine that claims to add convenience to your life, but fails miserably): 1. The battery life does not last anywhere near the 140-minute run time that is claimed. In my experience, the vacuum runs about an hour (60 minutes) max, even when fully charged and it hasn't been used for days. That means this vacuum doesn't even last half the maximum run time, which is a bit unreasonable (and for reference, this usage is all on hardwood/plank-type flooring, no varying floors/carpet materials so the suction should be pretty consistent throughout the entire cleaning cycle). 2. The vacuum is much louder than other versions I've purchased and seen at other people's places when visiting, so I'm not sure what the "low-noise" feature listed in the special features is being compared to. 3. The vacuum consistently is unable to find its way back to the base when done or when the battery is getting low. The vacuum literally tells me it is "unable to find the base" and to "put [me] back on the base to charge"...lol like huh?? Shouldn't there be signals/sensors for that? I actually watched it today after giving the vacuum the small task of a bedroom (less than 600 sq ft). When the vacuum was done it stated that it was done and returning to the base. I watched it spin in circles for a few minutes before it stated that it could not find the base and to put it back on the base. I am not a fan of that. 4. The vacuum suction and cleaning abilities are okay in small spaces, but I have noticed that the vacuum will pass over the same small item (e.g., a piece of string, hair, or a crumb) multiple times and still not pick up the item. This has been observed when the vacuum is only a minute or two fresh off the charger and hasn't travelled far or anything. To me, that is not okay since, at that point, the vacuum hasn't really done any "work" that would excuse such low-level performance. 5. The vacuum also seems to have trouble sensing/detecting objects, even though that should be a basic/standard feature for a robot vacuum. The product description says the vacuum detects and avoids objects, and boasts navigation and multi-floor mapping, but as you've probably already guessed, mine doesn't succeed at those tasks either lol. So, this robot vacuum is disappointing, unfortunately. It is easy to use, but the fact that most of the major/appealing features don't function properly makes this robot a barely functioning dud. I have missed my return window, but I think the shortcomings of this product are something to note for other consumers. ------ Update: I am adding this update because the seller reached out regarding my review. The seller was very nice and tried to find solutions for my issues and even offered a refund, which I truly appreciate. This reflects well on the seller and suggests that they care about their products and customers. Although my interactions with the seller were good, I will not be altering the original content or rating of my review. Personally, I think changing a review based on receiving a refund dilutes the utility, authenticity, and reliability of the review. I try to write my reviews to be informative and helpful to other consumers. So, remaining true to that purpose, I have updated the review to include seller experience while leaving my actual experience with the product intact. ... show more

this is the perfect robot vacuum. the app is very easy to use, it mapped my house out perfectly. it picks up every bit of dog hair and debris on my hardwood and rugs. i love that i don’t have to worry about dumping out the dust bin and that it dumps out on its own. it is fairly loud when it’s dumping but i dont mind. i haven’t used the mop feature, due to not being able to add cleaner into the water holder. ... show more

  • Mediocre. Likely better options available.
Color: Black
I've had this vacuum a little over a month. Only vacuums one level of my house--a mix of carpet and hardwood--twice a week on average and its already making sounds like something internal is failing--a bearing going out, etc. It will squeak and make noises it didn't make when it was new. I also wish it had a bit more suction to it. I haven't ever used the mop feature so I can't speak to that. I would also prefer a bit more battery life as it seems to need a recharge before finishing the job. I do really enjoy the self emptying feature and the mapping feature. Those are both great and seem to work without issue! An added bonus is being able to select whether its a high-powered suction or a regular suction which is nice to help either save battery or get a bit of a deeper vacuum. It's not too loud which is nice as well. ... show more
