Boy I really like this fan, especially the remote control. Took me about an hour to get it up and running. Once I got it up, it’s rock solid. This is a well made unit. Its whisper quiet and really puts out the air for a small fan. It has 6 speed settings and so far I haven’t had to use more than the 3rd setting. I’m impressed with this neat 42” fan. Very efficient. Still learning about it, but I think that it has timer settings as well. I installed it in my breakfast area adjacent to my kitchen to help displace the warm air when cooking. I think it’s going to do that very well. Placed in the correct size area, you’ve got a winner here. I almost left out the light. I live in California and the heat has been crazy lately, I got this ceiling fan to put up in my Pops room to replace the cheap apartment one he had up that never made any difference. This new ceiling fan is so great and now helps to keep his room cooler and more comfortable which to me makes it worth every penny! My father is also disabled so the remote is also a lifesaver and gives him easier control and more independence. It works great stirring the air perfectly and providing light when needed.
