This is a really nice little "Fandolier". It was easy to install, but I am pretty handy when it comes to electrical. I like the remote as well. It has quite a few features, such as fan settings and separate light settings. It is dimmable, and while dimmed with the wall switch, the fan still functions at full speed. Pretty nice! The air flow is pretty good below it, but we installed it with a medallion to cover up a large access hole nearby when we remodeled our coffee bar with a built in hall tree. So, the upward flow is hampered a little bit, but this is not the fault of the fan at all. The wood accent is painted on metal, but it still looks great. Reasonable quality for the price. The number and positioning of light sockets mean that it still lights the room reasonably well despite the obstruction from the fan. The fan itself runs well and creates decent flow, but it's just too small to be very effective. Even mounted on a relatively high ceiling you only feel significant airflow when you're directly beneath it (in maybe a 3' by 3' box). So a decent buy for aesthetics, but not if you need a good fan. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I really like this light fixture . It shines brightly, is low profile and since I have it hanging in the kitchen over the table we avoid hitting the fixture like my last hanging light. The fan feature is well controlled by a remote with a range of speed and quite forceful. It cools my kitchen well. The style is a modern farmhouse look and is very sturdy. Looks good, fairly easy to install with installed hanging rope, is light weight looks good and is fairly quite as a fan. I love the fact that you can exchange the light bulbs and do not have to buy a new complete fan when the bulbs burn out. Fan seems to be very powerful with 6 speeds and and does have a reverse flow with the remote (don't have to climb up to push the button on the fan base). ... show more

This is an excellent choice for a budget friendly fandelier. We have low ceilings in our basement and still wanted air flow, and this works great. The wood look is painted metal, which you can’t tell from afar. The remote is great, and air can flow down or up for winter vs summer mode. I when the fan is on low with the lights on, you do notice some strobing due to the blades but it’s not noticeable when the fan is running on high. This is expected since the blades are mounted under the light bulbs, and having clear blades does alleviate some of the strobing effect as compared to darker blades. ... show more

We got 2 for the closet. Pros: looks nice in a closet, unique way to get light and a fan, price was good, not cheap looking quality. Powerful fan Cons: instructions weren’t the best but was not terrible. Took a few tries to even them up. An arrow would be good idea to help line them up. The remote can be seen as a pro & a con.
