We just purchased a new built home and it’s in a very wooded area. It sets back quite a distance from the road and at night it’s total pitch dark in the yard. Freddy Krueger dark. With the Bears and coyotes and other wildlife here my wife said she needed the yard lit up. We purchased these lights put one on each side of the house and they are extremely bright and they about make our yard look like daytime at night. We had an electrician install the lights was fairly simple other than running the wires. We did have one bad light out of the four Amazon quickly replaced it and we’re still waiting for the electrician to come back and swap it out so we hope that the replacement is a good one. Other than that one malfunctioning light we are extremely satisfied with the product and as usual extremely satisfied with Amazon and their customer service. ... show more

So, in the corner of my backyard, I made a big dog litter-box of sorts with river rock and pea gravel. The trouble is, especially as winter approaches and the days get shorter, my big dogs are hesitant to walk all the way to their box to do their business. I have been meaning to get a flood light to shine on that area for a long time, but I wanted something that would stand up to the elements. I found this light recently and was REALLY impressed by how heavy-duty it is, and it is BRIGHT. It illuminates the whole corner of my backyard and has saved me a lot of time in yard cleanup. This light is good quality. It was easy to install - just remove 2 screws, wire nut to the three wires and close it back up. It provides a great deal of light to light up a very large area.
