Reviewing the Blukar LED Headlamp, 8000L head-mounted worklight. This is an excellent product at a reasonable price. It appears well made, with substantial plastic components, and produces a very intense, and adjustable, spotlight beam as well as sidebeams. The builtin rechargeable batteries are relatively large (about twice the volume of two AA batteries) so should last a reasonable length of time. The batteries are easily accessed so should be easily replaceable if necessary. The headband is about 1" wide and not uncomfortable, and both around-the-head circumference and over-the head length are easily adjustable. The various light patterns are controlled by sequentially pressing a button, but two of the patterns, blinking white and red, are unnecessary in a worklight and cause annoyance when cycling through the button presses to turn the lamp off. ... show more

This summer is a little hotter then the last. So with the recent random power outage at work (3 so far) to doing yard work to the late hours. This headlight was just what I needed. It has a bit of weight but not too heavy. Its got a secure strap to support the headlight to your head comfortably. It is bright, comes with four light features : bright, dim(slightly), flashing, and a red light. I haven't tested the battery life yet. It comes fully charged, fresh out of the box but it does have a charger. It functions just as it should, to see when it starts to get dark. Worth the money so I got two for emergencies. ... show more

I’ve had multiple headlamps over the past 35 years. And my last recently died. I’m really glad I chose this excellent headlamp as it’s replacement. It’s snug, it pivots up and down and the movement mechanism is tight preventing any accidental movement. It has multiple lighting modes. And, is a bright light. It has long battery life. I’ve used it every day since receiving (8 days ago), and still have not needed to recharge. And the quality of the light is still as strong as on day one. But once I do need to charge, it will be a simple plug in. Plus it’s waterproof. And has a flash mode for safety. I think these are an excellent value at the list price, $20.99. I recently purchased the Headlamp Flashlight with 8000 lumens, and overall, I’m quite impressed with its performance. The brightness is exceptional—perfect for late-night hiking and camping. The three light options and five modes (including spotlight and floodlight) give great versatility, and the zoomable feature is a nice touch for adjusting focus. It’s comfortable to wear, and the IPX6 waterproofing held up well during a rainy run. The 20+ hour runtime is solid, though I noticed it dims slightly after extended use on the highest setting, which is my only minor gripe. This headlamp light was a surprise as to how well built it is, how heavy the materials are, and what it will do. First, it came with partially charged batteries which helped to check it out; the batteries are rechargable and very heavy duty. The controls are easy to use: one click gets you the main lamp - two gets you the outboard two lamps, three gets you intermittant flashing, four clicks gets you a red beam for those who need to maintain their night vision, and then the next click turns off all lights. Even the nylon strapping is heavy duty, so it should last a long time. Good gear for a good price, and if it lasts as it looks to do, it will be well worth the price. ... show more
