I purchased this lamp for my granddaughters room ages 5 and 2 years old. It is perfect. I had to think about how to assemble but once I figured it out, it was easy to put together. I really like it. Hopefully, they will like their room, I am doing a full renovation for their Christmas stay.

Got two of these lights, and put them together the same night.. For the most part they were what I was looking for but while putting one together I had to adjust the metal pieces to the lampshade and it popped out. Luckily it didn’t affect the overall look since there were multiple clips. I’ll probably be buying different lampshades anyway, and would still recommend them. ... show more

The lamp is all metal and very sturdy. The lamp shade is plastic and you have to snap it on to a metal frame but it a nice lamp shape. I bought this for my son’s bedroom but I’m going to buy a couple more for the other bedrooms in my house. Definitely recommend.

Whoever designed the packaging for this is a GENIOUS. I got this box on my doorstep and it was about the size of one of a cereal box. I was sooo disappointed when I saw that box thinking this was either going to be way smaller than I expected, like those reviews for furniture that people buy thinking it’s life sized only to find out it’s for a doll house, or just a piece of junk. To top it off I was 9 months pregnant and just not up to building things and this was for my nursery. Well, I put this thing together in 5 minutes and it is GREAT. I was pleasantly surprised. The shade was what I was most skeptical about but it turned out great, I added a pic of the Velcro seam, I just keep it towards the wall but it still looks fine, after all most shades have a seam and you can’t tell his one is velco after you put it together. It does not come with a bulb so plan to have one handy. The on/off button on the floor is also nice since it can be easily turned on/off by anyone as opposed to many that have that turn knob inside of the shade that you can only find by blinding yourself looking into the light. Would definitely buy again! And might have to since 1 isn’t quite bright enough to light the room fully to my liking, though I do like rooms extra bright. ... show more

So I have been researching and trying to find an affordable floor lamp that wasn't just going to give poor illumination yet again. I had an expensive one that I did not illuminate well no matter the bulb. I took a chance and bought this, good decision. It doesn't come with a bulb so purchase when you purchase the lamp if you don't have any at home. Now when I turn my lamp on it is like daylight in my entire room. No shadows or yellow light.
