I doubt these are for outdoors. Did not order with remote because I thought I would have a problem. In spite, I did have a problem. I originally ordered two. Then I ordered another with a different name. I had problems with all three of them. At first they were great, but after a couple of rain storms, they would not charge or light. It is a shame because they really looked lovely on my deck, For that reason, I gave them one star. I am returning all three. I do not have the original boxes, and I am hoping they don't give me a hard time. They are great, if they don't get wet outdoors. I just ordered two solar lamps that were a bit pricy compared to others I saw, but I am done with the outdoor lights that need to be charged since I feel once they get wet, a problem arises with the battery. ... show more
