Bought this on a whim for my kids to use as a toothbrush timer. It’s nice, because it gives them the animation to focus on and the teeth brushing, time seems to go by quickly. As some other others wrote in their reviews, it seems to have a fine battery life, if you turn it off after using it. And like some other others stay in there their reviews, the battery life does feel short. We probably can get a month of toothbrushing and miscellaneous house time out of it before we need to recharge it.

I don’t use this as a timer. It’s just for decorative use. The battery last for about a day, so I keep it plugged in.

I like this device. Works as described in the manual, easy to use. But I have noticed that it loses battery charge rather quickly.even when not in use. But it charges very fast.

This is a very bright, cute and fun-to-use LED hourglass. The LEDs are very bright even in daylight, and the animation of the “sand” falling reacts to gravity in a realistic way, making this hourglass fun to use. When you flip the hourglass, the motion of the lights changes direction as if real particles were moving. It’s enjoyable to watch. Getting started took a bit of effort. The power button needs to be held for about three seconds, then another button sets the time, followed by a couple of confirmations for minutes and seconds. To enable sound, the hourglass has to be placed on its side for a few seconds - not very intuitive, but once learned, it’s easy to repeat. The sound feature is handy, giving three short beeps when the timer finishes. Turning the hourglass over starts the next cycle automatically. Battery life is great, and it can be charged with the provided usb-c cable. Overall, it’s a clever device that combines fun with function - and allows me to practice focused study and work. For the price, it delivers very good value.

Seem like a cool device, the interface to interact with it it's horrible, not intuitive and hard to use. it doesn't turn itself on, so often times when you needed it, the battery will be depleted. just get something that looks maybe less interesting, but works better.

This is a great size and the battery life is good but its is not very intuitive to operate. The main buttons are on off an up down for brightness and time. The buttons are very small and not the easiest to press. It uses a c type charger that is included with the unit. You can set a timer from 1-30 minutes after you figure out how to use it. It does not take long but its not as plug and play as other timers. You have to press all the way to 30 minutes so that can be annoying. The digital numbers are hard to read. Overall it works and is functional but the digital blocks dropping is the main feature of this unit. It is nice to look at and works as a time but set up and usage can be a bit cumbersome with the small buttons and difficult instructions.
