This 9 x 7 side shade is well made and works very well to give some privacy, reduce the heat/glare from the sun, and to cut down on the wind. It is a screen so it doesn't block everything 100%. If the wind is too strong, you do have to take it down. We did not attach the clips to our RV but just use the provided bungee cords to attach it to the arm on our awning.

I just received this sun screen. Ordered the 9 x 7 foot for our 24 foot camper. I tried it out yesterday. It fits perfectly and absolutely provides a huge amount of relief from the afternoon sun. The shade it provides is not absolute but it dies cut the intensity of the sun to a comfortable level. Mounts to the front of the awning and to the camper. It comes with bracket meant to be screwed to the camper. I didn't want to drill into the camper so I used epoxy to mount the bracket. The only reason for 4 stars is due to the fact that I can't voich for durability due to just receiving it. The material seems strong and durable. Time will tell. I feel it is well worth the price.

I've re read the top reviews and wonder if I've received a different product. The netting is so thin it doesn't block any sunlight, you can barely tell the difference shade-wise if it's up or not. There is absolutely zero privacy, not that we bought it specifically for that purpose but that was a side hope. It's super lightweight, which is good but if you're not able to anchor it firmly (gravel, concrete), it flaps around all over itself, even in gentle wind. I chose this shade because the photos looked just like the more expensive versions but it's been yet another lesson of you get what you pay for. The photos are definitely not the same as the useless shade we pulled out of the box.

Goes on the rv awning easily. We were wondering if it would keep the heat off of our rv and mat and it worked like it said it would, what a difference. My husband said it feels like we added a room on. It helps block some of the lights from neighbors and the city. We did not test temperature but it was Noticeably cooler under the shadecover. Is a good thickness and when the rain went through it dried quickly and kept some of the rain at bay. I would gladly recommend this shade. We bought Blue to go with our mat.
