First I will talk about the actual sun shade. It works fantastically. Our deck out front of our camper faces west, so it would get very hot in the evenings. It feels at least 10 degrees cooler. It is also much thicker and sturdier than I thought it would be. Well made! It took under 5 minutes to install, very easy. Just slide the cord through the a lot that is already on our awning, and when you roll the awning back in, the shade rolls up into it. I am loving this product! I should have gotten it years ago. Next, the customer service. It is outstanding! We got our shade as a Christmas gift. It sat in our garage until May when we got out camper out of storage. I got some bad information and ordered the wrong size shade. It was now 4 months passed the purchase date. It was totally my fault. I ordered wrong size and I didn’t check to see if it would fit. I emailed Tentproinc and assumed they would just say, “too bad, you should have ordered the right size.” And they could have. I got a response, on a Saturday, within 2 hours. It was from the owner, Michael. He explained that they could not take it back, but would give us a discount on a new one. I don’t know if he wants me to advertise how big this discount was, but it was substantial. Ordered the correct size online on Wednesday and it was at my door on Friday. He emailed me 5 separate times to make sure that I received discount, received product, and was pleased with product. I highly recommend this product and company. This was my first time using this awning. The construction looks solid and the screen material is heavier than I expected. But for those reviewers that claim they can install this awning by themselves please tell me your secret. I was able to get maybe 2/3 of the screen on the awning, but there is no way I can get the remainder slid onto the awning without another person. Maybe shorter awnings might work, mine is 20 feet. I am hoping that when my wife shows up tomorrow she will be able to stretch it out so I can slide the whole length onto the awning.
