Absolutely happy with purchase, luckily I’m a mechanic and was able to mount to rack. My rack was not compatible with brackets that came with this product but fabrication is part of my job and made it happen. It would have been possible with purchase of another product for rack. But didn’t have time to order and wait. Back to awning, it’s great well made materials are good quality. Very happy will get lots of use. Easy to set up. Easy to put away. Cost wise if it had been any higher in price I would not of gave it a second look, of coarse we all want things cheaper but it’s affordable and the material and ease of use makes it a good buy. This is the best canopy out there. I have it hooked to my jeep and it works great with or without the legs down. Very well built. Just a little tough to put back in the case.

I installed this on my truck after having a different brand of awning a few years ago. This ovs awning is by far the nicest one I've used to date. The setup and tear down takes only a couple minutes at most. The free standing feature makes this awning so much nicer than messing with poles. Came with a nice bag with lots of ropes and a strap to hold the awning open. I bought this on a sale and I paid under $400 for it which is an insane value. we ended up attaching it to the front drivers side..its pretty sturdy but not good. for high wind.its sturdy enough without the legs but they add extra support which is nice! my Husband added a cut piece of actual plastic (Cutting board) it attaches to for greater stability while driving so it doesn't move around. ... show more
