Was looking for an 8x8 rug and this fit the bill. I usually wouldn’t have bought a rug with such a busy pattern but it works for my color theme. I like it. It’s surface is softer than expected. Didn’t give it 5 stars because it’s very thin. I rolled the corners in the opposite direction than how it was originally rolled then vacuumed it a few times and it stayed perfectly flat. ... show more

You'll definitely want to purchase that tape they sell to keep it from moving. Otherwise, you'll have to re-position it every day. Not the rug's fault, just the nature of it.

I have several Safavieh rugs and have been very very pleased. This one, Safavieh Adirondack Collection ADR110F Light Blue and Dark Blue Vintage Distressed, however, looks fine, but the dog's hair sticks to it like crazy, it is not easy to vacuum the hair off, and if you clean a spill with water (or - the dog, remember - Nature's Miracle) the rug bows and won't lie flat - to clean it you need to soak the whole rug and set it outside to dry. Sure, it looks just great after that, but in my opinion that ought not be necessary. If you need this rug for a non-water, non-dog hair area, and the colors please you, I predict you will be fine. I am sorry to say I have replaced two of these - though with other Safavieh rugs, so it is not the brand - just this particular one. ... show more
