    • Great pots can't wait to upgrade my skillets
I've had this pot for around 6 months now and like it quite a bit. It heats up extremely quick and is great to cook with. The lip that these pots have is a god-send if you're like me and tend to strain or pour items out of your pots and then return to the heater. There's no over-spill or trickling down the side of the pot. They really work! The lifetime warranty on these pots allows you to wash them in the dishwasher which is great. I have only had discoloring on the inner-bottom portion of my pots but this is expected when cooking with pots that have stainless steel exposed. Scouring with Bar Keepers Friend will remove this but is unnecessary. I had wanted to upgrade to pots that I felt I would keep for a long time. I initially had bought a set of Calphalon hard anodized aluminum pots based on the discount on Amazon as well as the reviews. I found the pots excessively tedious to clean and were not very uniform with heating. These pots on the other hand are fantastic and I believe I have found the perfect set for myself. I'm going to upgrade my skillets once the coating on my Calphalon skillets give out and am greatly looking forward to the lip that is on the pans as well. This is a must buy for someone that wants pots similar to All-Clad but are wary of the All-Clad price tag. I've gone through 4 various sets of pots from moving and not wanting to take them along but if I end up with another cross-country move these pots will be going with me. ... show more

    • Very Good Stainless Steel Saucpan
Made in China, the description does not mention that and I had asked the question and received no answer. That being said, this is a very well made and weighty saucepan. I am replacing 30 year old Calphalon and considered many brands. I think Le Creuset Stainless is the best of the Chinese made brands, not quite as good as some American or European made ones. Fit and finish are very good and after a couple months of use I am happy with this choice. My only quibble is the design of the helper handle is squared off and actually unnecessary in a 2qt pan, I would prefer a more round shape. I would actually give it 4 ½ stars. ... show more

    • A pretty thing in all ways
It felt like a splurge, but I had to replace my old saucepan because the bottom was a little warped so wouldn't work well on my glass-top range. But once I used this Le Creuset saucepan, it felt immediately like a necessity and now I don't want to live without it. It is beautiful to look at, it's substantial in weight, the handles stay cool (so far, anyway), and it pours nicely. Also the lid didn't drip condensation. I love Le Creuset and especially these pans. They are light weight enough to handle and it heats the food up quickly and the clean up is just as fast. I have this in my kitchen and use it constantly and I gave one to my daughter and she loves these pans as well.

A pretty good saucepan, which has the features I wanted, plus a famous FRENCH name. No where in the description would one guess that this iconic brand is made in CHINA. We'll see how this holds up, but since cookware of this price and supposed quality can be a purchase of a lifetime, more transparency would be appreciated. This pan is beautiful to look at and beautiful to use; I just used it last night. Also, I have the satisfaction of knowing that I got this wonderful item for a good price (in contrast to what I would have had to pay at high-end kitchen store).

A really well made and well designed piece of cookware. Heavy triple sided pot with a comfortable handle that heats very quickly on induction stovetop. This one will last two lifetimes,at least.
