As stated it is a "petite" stockpot... it is very small. I love the sea salt color. It is a an enamel coated steel. It has some weight to it. It's perfect for 1 or 2 person household. The lid fits perfectly on the lipped edge of the pot. Two side handles. I love my Le Creuset cast iron and these enamel pieces. With good care, they are heirloom pieces. The inside is easier to clean vs the enamled cast iron pans, and it looks just as nice. Bummer it's not made in France but it do be cheaper. But I'm also biased. My enamled cast iron skillet is one of my most hated 'investments' cause it's slow to warm up, sucks to clean, is heavy as hell, and food sticks to it like no tomorrow regardless of the amount of butter and oil you use to avoid the sticking. ... show more

Factory second? It's very excited by this pot. It's beautiful lightweight and just the size I was looking for. Unfortunately it had a chip in the enamel that was clearly a manufacturing error so I ordered replacement. The replacement not only also had a chip under the handle it was large chunks flaking off of the enamel. The weight and the quality of the finish has me questioning whether or not this is authentic. I have several Le Creuset and have never seen something this low quality from them. I returned the second item and did not purchase again. ... show more
