The description said it heated evenly and that is true! The first use was spaghetti sauce and it didn’t stain or retain the smell of the sauce. I bought it to replace a pot from a different brand and this one did a better job of heating evenly and holding the heat. Buyer beware! - these pots are ALL damaged. Most of the damage is at the handles, as if somebody used a grinder AFTER the color enamel was put on. The packaging is fine and shows no influence of force. I wonder what could have caused this same damage in so many items of the product. Definitely something LeCreuset should look into. I am not replacing mine since the inside is ok, so is the cover. But my fandom for LeCreuset has ended right here. ... show more
