This is a great kit for mechanics. Impressive full-system diagnostics and key programming. It does things I didn't know about. Easy to use. It's already paid for itself. I have used it on a few vehicles to PIN code, programmed fobs, cleared the immobilizer fault codes. Without it, I might have to contact a locksmith or send it to a repair dealer (costing much more). It doesn't just do key programming - I've used it for full-system scans on Ford F-150s, Toyota Tacomas, and BMW 3 series. The rest functions all done in a few taps on the bright, rugged touchscreen. Yes it only comes with two years free software updates, I didn't hesitate at all. Because it's so much better than others only offer one year free upgrades. If you're serious about diagnosing cars efficiently, do yourself a favor and grab the LAUNCH X431 IMMO PLUS. You won't regret it - and either will your bottom line. Highly recommend!

Pretty impressed so far, has worked well so several different vehicles. I tried programming keys on 2018 Honda odyssey and 2016 F250. this tool has paid for itself already and is a reliable long-term investment. beyond the impressive IMMO functions, the full systems diagnosis is incredibly fast. It picked up some trouble codes my old budget scanner missed. The interface is snappy, and the bi-directional control makes testing components like fuel pumps or cooling fans are a breeze. It's like having a master technician sitting in the passenger seat, providing a holistic approach to vehicle maintenance and repair. it feels rugged, the battery life is solid, and the software updates are frequent. Honestly, my only regret is not buying it sooner. Five star!! it is truly a powerful diagnostic tool.

This device has a lot of good features and functions and i am gonna get the same kind for a replacement. However i am just disappointed about the customer service and run around and that's the reason i am rating it at a 3 star! My problem with returning the device is that when i attempted activating the device, it showed that the device was already activated under someone else' profile and name. So apparently it was a returned device and at new as described. I did not mind keeping it if only i had tech support or customer service to remove the initial profile bound to the VCI and activate the device in my name. However, i ran out of patience awaiting support for this and i cant wait to buy another and get going with my ECU cloning and key programing. If you have used one of these before, it is a no turning back or away from staying with Launch and just upgrading over time.

Very professional car scan tool. I'm glad I bought it. It does a lot of thing and stands out for the ecu cloning capabilities - other competitors like Ancel or Foxwell simply can't match. When it comes to immobilizer systems, it's like a game changer. It doesn't just read codes-it actively resolves anti-theft lockouts, and programs new keys. It also can let you duplicate immobilizer data from a working key or ECU to a replacement. I tested it on a 2012 BMW 328i (replacing a damaged CAS module), and it worked flawlessly. Competitors require expensive add-ons or simply lack this feature. Covers North American, European, and Asian models. The guided menus make complex tasks like key learning or ECU adaptation surprisingly straightforward. Live data streaming is also super responsive. Great price for the features it has for automotive.

Great product that comes in a secure cases that will protect the product. The surround of the tablet is very comfortable to use. The one thing that is not advertised is the fact the you need to be a member of NATSF that is very costly in order to work with keys and securities. So, be sure to do your homework on that. You are required to have a business license carrying $1,000,000 of insurance. Be a licensed lock smith. Well I hope you get this information and review carefully, if you can find the information on it. I had to find out when I went to use the tablet to program a key for my sone.

It's very easy to use and has a durable build quality.It handles most everything including the anti-theft matching and key programming, making the work easier and more efficient. The full diagnosis function is incredibly helpful in identifying and resolving any issues with the vehicle. Just one small thing, before you use the immo functions, you need to purchase the nastf license and log in to a nastf account. but it's still way cheaper than other options out there.
