Bought this because it’s a commonly used brand that German auto mechanics and all other mechanics seem to use. This is probably the most affordable mainstream advanced code reader that you can get. Pairs very quickly, was packaged very nicely and does as it should. I’ll be using it on various cars, but so far my tests have proven that this is an excellent tool. Absolute steal for $85 when comparable with less features go for $150-$700.

I'll start by saying so for I am pleased with the purchase. Upon receiving the tool I immediately updated it, which was easy to do following the supplied instructions. The functionality of the scanner is there. The interface will take some getting use to since I am use to the autel interface. So for I have pulled the codes from a 02 f150 (DTC), pulled ABS codes from a 06 expedition, and ABS codes from a '10 Chevy equinox. All worked great. I have yet to use any of the reset functions, (oil, SAS, battery) but plan to. The only issue I have come across so far is on the 02 f150, the Creader read significantly less on board monitors then the autel. But all in all it is a great scan tool to add to my arsenal.

This is a fair scanner however it does not work on every car out there. But for the price not bad at all. Just read the web page well before you buy.

I have used Launch scanners in the past and have really liked them. What I noticed when I first took the device out of the box was how lightweight it was. At the end of the day, I appreciate the light weight of this. It is also robust on the outside, so it should hold up to a small drop or two pretty well. As far as the scanning software, it is already preloading with many manufacturers. Upon hooking it up to my Nissan Titan, it found the VIN very quickly. My truck does not have the oil reset feature, but I like knowing that this is available to use. I highly recommend this scanner if you are in the market for a budget friendly device that will give you great results.

This device did was not able to read any of the AIRBAG/ABS codes on my 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan. The scanner was easy to use and seemed well made. I have been using the Torque APP and a Bluetooth OBD2 scanner and there was not much difference in what I could do before purchasing this scanner. Sent the scanner back for a refund.

***NEW UPDATE*** I will say that the actual company, at the end of the day, pretty respectful and do know how to show customer appreciation. I still ended up returniung the item, but the rep I delt with, she would not stop trying to ensure that I was satisfied. I was offered a discount on a new item, I declind and returned the item and she turned around and gave me a $30 gift card just for the trouble and issue... She was also very persistant lol I read and reread the listing and visited the website prior to my purchase. Everything said that it was compatible for SRS reset for my year, make and model of vehicle. When I received it and tried, it says that it is not an option. I did the update, again it still says not an option. I did emails support and they did respond requesting additional information so I will update my review if anything changes.
