This is my 3rd Lasko ceramic heater purchase. My first was purchased in 2005 and is still going strong even after years of intensive use. I recommend this specific heater style. When I opened this box and pulled out the heater, I didn't realize that there was a separate base for the unit. Make sure you attach the base first, or the unit won't stand up alone. You can find out the temperature of the room by starting the power, pressing the - button, then giving the unit about 10 seconds to flash the temperature on the display. I particularly like the height of this model, since bending over is tough for me these days. Keeps the room nice and cozy on cold days. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Started up and heats the room. Simple Instructions is simple, as the heater is simple to use. Set the timer if you prefer and it’ll shut off automatically. Simple remote when you’re lazy. 🤣

INCREASED MY BILL $220.78 ! ELECTRIC BILL SHOCK, This heater works great, BUT IT WILL GOOBLE UP ELECTRICITY. Note: Our regular heat and hot water are gas. The only change to our electric usage was this heater. I had it in our garage set on 60 degrees. Last February our bill was $147.60, this year (with only this heater added) our electric bill was $368.38 ! Lasko told me this... The Model CT22495 runs at 900W at Low up to 1500W at Max/High. Lasko cannot provide an exact cost as this is heavily influenced by the rate per kilowatt your local electric company charges for peak and off-peak times. Below we have provided a formula, however, to get the closest actual cost, we recommend contacting your energy company to determine their exact rate per kilowatt charged. High: 1.5kilowatts x (rate per kilowatt) = Estimated cost per hour Low: .9kilowatts x (rate per kilowatt) = Estimated cost per hour USE WITH CAUTION, my electric bill went up around FOUR TIMES the cost of the heater! ... show more
