I’ve owned this beautiful little heater for 5 years now and it’s been well worth the cost. I depend upon it before I break down and turn my furnace on to take the chill off any room I’m spending time in and haven’t noticed any additional costs in my electric bill. I also make use of this heater throughout the entire time I depend upon my furnace, because I’ve found that I can lower my furnace temperature and still be comfortable with having this little heater keep me warm in the room(s) that I occupy. This heater has literally been on from Fall until Spring the past 5 years in my home. I love that it’s lightweight and portable, it’s easy to move it from room to room wherever I need it. It’s especially handy to warm up the bathroom for taking a shower. I don’t know of anyone who enjoys stepping out of a shower into a cold room. 🥶 I’ve had several people comment on how cute they think it is, it’s definitely different from your average heater, how often can you call a heater cute? ☺️ All the features are conveniently placed on the top of the heater which I love because it’s so easy to see what I’ve set. I’m able to set the temperature I want the heater to produce in heat, as well as a timer for the length of time I want it to run. I love that it’s capable of oscillating to distribute the heat throughout a particular area. I don’t have to worry about it getting tipped over because if that happens, it has a shut off feature for safety. I’m extremely happy with this purchase since I’ve gotten 5 years of uncomplicated service from it, it’s definitely one of the best purchases I’ve made on Amazon. If you’re on the fence about purchasing this cute heater from Lasco, I wouldn’t be concerned because they’re a reputable manufacturer when it comes to the heaters they make. The media could not be loaded. First, we can get the obvious out of the way: this thing produces heat. Not only that, it produces it quietly, quickly, and in such abundance I could maybe tinkle just a little bit with happiness. Second, regarding the heater's size and general presence, it is somewhat less substantial than I expected, but visually unique (my daughter used the word "charming,") and seems to be extremely well made. Does it vibe not unlike a mysterious faux vessel lurking at the fringes of your local Olive Garden? Yes. Am I cool with that? Also, yes. Honestly, I was looking to replace a defunct 22" electric stove-style space heater (see video for size comparison) as a backup heat source in a medium-sized room, but to make a VERY long story less agonizing, I ended up making this purchase instead based mainly on brand name, price, and reviews, and it was 100% the right choice for everyone involved. Meaning me, and indirectly all the poor, albeit warm, saps who now have to hear about it. Also, please try to forgive the extra dark video. I was so excited to document my fabulous new piece of 90s retro excellence that I temporarily forgot I live in upstate NY, where the sun goes down by 4:43pm... Hence, the heater. ... show more

Beautiful piece of art in a heater! Have this under my desk. Easy to work even in the dark, and it keeps me toasty in my cold sunroom this winter while I am at my computer. Has high-low heat settings as well as degree settings so you can tweak you preferred level. It also has an oscillator, but I keep that turned off. It seems safe. As a matter of fact, it has a safety setting that after a while if it gets too hot, it will shut off for a while to cool down, and turn back on, or you can turn back on at a higher setting. Discovered that on my own. The red light stays on when you plug it in, so don’t let that concern you. It will not come on unless you manually turn it on. So far, great buy! ... show more
