Powerful heater. This is my second one. I would still be using the first one, but I knocked it off of a stoolthat I had put it on and I broke it. I immediately replaced it. I use it all year round and it has been very reliable. Who knows how long it would’ve lasted if I had not dropped it.

Warms a room easily and doesn’t look as bad as most heaters. I will say, I’ve never had this problem with anything else but my breakers trip sometimes when I use this. Living in Connecticut with the second highest electric rates in the country, the last thing I wanted to do was buy an electric space heater, believe me!!! I did not want baseboard heat in my newly finished master bathroom so I never installed heat there, I bought this and I am pleased to say it works great! Most times I just put it on max and have it oscillate and it does not take long to heat up a small space. When my pellet stove auger broke, I use this in my Master Bedroom that is approximately 14‘ x 18‘ and set the temperature at 65° and had oscillate and this little guy performed nicely. I have a feeling all of these heaters run at 1800 W, I guess the trick is to find the one that makes the best use of it. I recommend this, I think I paid about $50 for this on sale, not sure what it is today as I bought it in October 2024. Don’t regret this purchase, glad I bought it, it does the trick when needed and is very quiet. Oh yeah, looks good too, I have the tan colored version. ... show more

Beautiful piece of art in a heater! Have this under my desk. Easy to work even in the dark, and it keeps me toasty in my cold sunroom this winter while I am at my computer. Has high-low heat settings as well as degree settings so you can tweak you preferred level. It also has an oscillator, but I keep that turned off. It seems safe. As a matter of fact, it has a safety setting that after a while if it gets too hot, it will shut off for a while to cool down, and turn back on, or you can turn back on at a higher setting. Discovered that on my own. The red light stays on when you plug it in, so don’t let that concern you. It will not come on unless you manually turn it on. So far, great buy! ... show more

I have tried several small heaters in the past, and had been disappointed. I ordered this based on reviews, and I am not disappointed. I needed something to balance the temperature in my apartment. I live in an older home and the insulation is lacking severely. The register placements and boxy setup make it hard for the temperature to be even throughout. With the colder temps, I really needed something to make the other half of my apartment comfortable. This has done the job. I have it set to 65 and it helps the older furnace by balancing the temperature and not run as often. I am no longer walking into cold rooms. I love that it looks decorative. Which means, come warmer temps, I will not absolutely have to put it away. It heats my living room quickly. It starts and stops as it should. And the sides stay cool as they should. I cats were playing and knocked it over one day, it immediately shut off. Which is very important to me. One thing to note, do not plug this in to a surge protector or surge protected outlet. It will trip your breaker. I was not paying attention one day and forgot. Plugged it into a tower box and five minutes later, it tripped the breaker. I would recommend this product to anyone who, like me, is limited on space (especially storage space) and wants something which not only looks good, but is functional. ... show more

Ok so I bought this thing almost 10 years ago. Ever since (during the winters) my wife leaves this running in the bedroom at night to warm the toes a little bit. My ONLY problem with this heater is that it works very well, and that my wife forgets to use the timer feature to turn turn it off after an hour or two. So here I am, almost midnight, sweating profusely because it works very well. My only options are to 1) wake her up and ask her to turn it off (it is on her side of the bed afterall) 2) crawl over her and reach for the button to turn it off, waking her up 3) getting up out of bed, tripping over everything on the way around my humble queen sized bed, all to turn it off and wake her up. I lost the remote. Don't lose the remote. It will save your marriage. All jokes aside, this thing rocks. It has never once failed. It is the most aesthetically pleasing way to use the most inefficient heat source available. If anyone has a remote, I'd really like to know the IR frequency and codes to be able to shut it off without waking my wife up. And im too stubborn to by a replacement remote ... show more
