While the general design is truly stylish with a flask that does indeed keep water cool; I completely missed the lid design. I think LARQ fails miserably in that area; as the drinking straw is utterly exposed! I find it dangerous to have the main part that goes into my mouth open to the elements. Will be returning mine.

The bottle itself is gorgeous and feels like it's made from quality material. However, I found that the filter makes filling up the water bottle such a pain. With the filter, you will constantly over filled it and often get water on your hands. This generally isn't an issue, but more of an annoyance as there is no indication of when you should stop filling up the bottle to prevent this from occurring. The filter also has another issue, it does take up some space from an already small water bottle, I found myself constantly needing to refill the bottle since it's only 17 oz. This is fine if you need 17 ounces but the water bottle is much larger than equivalent filling plastic lined / basic aluminum bottles. I understand the convenience of having a filter at all times, but I think most would benefit from a cheap water bottle and spending the extra on a countertop filter that others can use too.

I really like this waterbottle. I do not use the filter anymore since I fill it with filtered water. The bottle looks really nice and easy to hold/drink out of.

Very stylish and easy to use. Well, except for the ring you can hook on the top. If you don't want it on there I wouldn't suggest putting it on anyway. It can be tough to get off of there. Either that or I was just having a bad day, lol. Filters should last through about 40 gallons of water before needing to be replaced. And as for needing to be replaced? It looks like you'll have to go to LARQ's website to order them. They are $19.95 each, unless you're financially comfortable. Then you get rewarded with a 20% discount by opting to have one automatically sent to you every two months and allowing them to auto draft $15.96 from your account every two months. Funny how that works huh?
