Features 5
- Side-Opening Automatic Chicken Coop Door Better Fit for More Chicken Coops: Our innovative horizontal-opening design is more coop-friendly than traditional vertical doors. It doesnt require extra overhead space, making installation easier and more compatible with most coop layoutsespecially those with limited clearance above the door.
- Extra-Large Opening Ideal for Bigger Breeds: Give your flock the space they deserve. With a generous door opening of 14.76"H x 11.02"L, even larger chickens can pass through comfortably without crowding or getting stuck. Perfect for mixed-size flocks or larger heritage breeds.
- 5 Smart Modes Fully Automatic or Manual When You Need It: Choose from Timer, Light Sensor, Combo (Timer + Light), Remote Control (15m range), or Manual Mode. Whether you want set-it-and-forget-it automation or flexible manual control, this door adapts to your routine and your chickens' natural rhythm.
- Dual Power 7W Solar Panel + USB Charging for Long Life: Stay powered with two efficient options. The included 7W solar panel delivers faster charging and longer runtime than most, while USB backup ensures uninterrupted operation during cloudy days or low light conditions.
- Anti-Pinch Safety + Intrusion Alarm + Manual Override: The Auto chicken coop door automatically reopens if it detects an obstacle (like a chicken) during closing, then retries after the area is clearno more accidental injuries. Plus, an intrusion alarm sounds if someone tries to force it open, and a manual gear knob lets you open or close the door during power loss. Built with durable, weatherproof aluminum for year-round protection.

Great value for price.
Color: Brown
The install was easy but I do carpentry. If you have an existing hole for the door in your coop it should be just 6 screws to attach it. It works great and the solar attachment was easy to install also. It has a metal door with a locking latch.

Great door!
Color: Brown
So far so good with this run door. It was easy to install. The opening is a perfect size for hens and larger than normal roosters. I love the manual open/close knob that it comes with and a remote to use from far away. The price was a big selling point for me. It seems very durable. The door itself is metal. It doesn't seem like a chicken would get stuck in the door either. It has a slow closure allowing a chicken to have enough time to get out of the way. Overall I am very happy with the door.

Nice option for coops with above-door overhangs.
Color: Brown
Works great so far, chickens were used to it after the first night. I like that the gate swings open outward instead of rolling up like many other auto chicken doors. My coop has an overhang that would prevent the other gates from working, so I’m glad this one works as advertised. The build quality appears solid. The only reason I have given it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the light sensor is too course. I tried using it the first night but it shut way too early, even with the sensitivity turned way down to near its lowest setting. I will just have to manually reprogram the timer throughout the year as the sunset/sunrise times change. No big deal, but it would be nicer if the photo sensor just worked a bit better and I wouldn’t have to do that, then it would be truly automatic! Oh well, hope this review helps someone.
