I was pleasantly surprised on the sturdiness of this coop. When in doubt, go with the larger (approx 19 ft x 10 ft). Did take some time to assemble and is much easier with two people; however, we worked hard to make sure the chicken wire was tight with no sags. We really liked the costed chicken wire. Kinda Chinsey. Wire is easily bent. The directions are crap! They don't say anything only pictures. Very vague pictures at that. Definitely need general understanding of building to understand this coop. The door sucks. The door area is what really needs more detailed instructions. My husband couldn't figure it out. I managed to after leaving it alone. They only give a few tap screws and the door area needs at least 14 more to hold it together. Here's a tip on the door construction, the smallest bar goes on the bottom of the door itself, the 2nd smallest goes above the door bracing the two long bars creating the door frame. All the frame parts attach with the clamps they provide but ALL OF THE DOOR FRAME AND DOOR NEED TAP SCREWS!! So buy a small box/baggie of self tappers. This works in a pinch for a coop but not ideal for long term ... show more

Missing or wrong size bolts. Unable to complete the structure as down to the final pieces for the door and the bolts remaining are all too wide, went around to see if we used the wrong ones somewhere else but bolts are to wide to use anywhere. Will have to either drill out the holes or go buy new bolts. ... show more

Very easy to put together. My husband was able to tell my 5yr old what to do and he put a lot of it together with minimal help. He obviously couldn’t do the mesh but everything else was good for him to do!

    • Corners are confusing.

I'm not sure about the e1 and e2 corners. One corner has vertical holes and the connecting rods have horizontal connectors. I can't find any media to explain if this is a machine error or what I'm doing wrong.
