Very easy to put together. I modded it slightly to use more as a meat bird chicken tractor. I put a 12x16 tarp for the roof, I used emt conduit to hold the back wall vertical and horizontal as support. And then used short steel on the sides to help the be warmer. Worked great

This was the perfect addition to our chicken castle. Very solid and easy to assemble with plenty of material to complete the setup. Shipping was the only sticker shock we received at over $80.

This does not come as panels! You have to stretch really thin cheap chicken wire over it after you build the frame. For the price AND additional shipping costs it's deceiving. You can go to local hardware/farm store and get a dog run panel kit for the same or less cost that is stronger and more durable. This is poor quality and requires at least two people to be able to stretch the fencing and advise a fence stretcher tool to do it better but the quality of fencing snaps with the tool.

Put together by myself. Putting on the Chicken Wire. The Door is a 2 Man Job. Seems to be very sturdy and so far is holding up to the high winds we have been having lately. Not going to be used for Chickens however, it is used to keep the Deer out of the garden.

So, I think this product is overall pretty good. The frame is really the best part as it snaps together really easily. My daughter was able to help me with it and we had it done in about 30 minutes. However, the wire that comes with this product is extremely thin and any predator could she write through I believe. So be prepared to buy yourself a 6 ft tall roll of thicker chicken wire to go around it. I went around the sides with 6 ft thicker chicken wire first and then I used the green wire that they supplied with the product to cover the top. I had to go back and weave everything together with some 17 gauge wire. Kind of like sewing. After I did all this I was able to make it nice and tight. The zip ties are really only good for holding the wire in place while you're wiring everything together to make it tight. Zip ties would not hold up to a predator or anything pulling on it especially after the sun baked them for a little while. If you will notice in the picture above I put my frame up on 2x6s that were anchored by the concrete raised bed cornerstones you can buy at Lowe's. They're very cheap and they give the coop some weight. I used pipe strapping to anchor the frame bar to the top of the wood and nothing's going anywhere. Then to predator proof the whole thing I went around the entire outside , dug a one foot ditch and place chicken wire down into the hole and covered it up. The door is really flimsy and the gap at the bottom is large enough for a weasel or small rodent to get in and kill your chickens. So I rigged it up and strapped a piece of cut plywood two the outside of the door such that it covers the bottom tightly. And I'll be able to put an automatic chicken door in this piece of plywood in the future. I placed my chicken coop outside of the run, then put a couple of 2x4s up in the middle and made a simple frame around the opening to the chicken door such that the chickens could fit into the lot but no animals could push through there between the cracks. I hope this review helps somebody especially a new person starting out with chickens.
