This run was delivered quickly in two separate boxes a day apart, so don't be alarmed if you only receive one box (they include a nice note explaining the run comes in two separate boxes.) The run frame snapped together easily and the directions were great to follow. The netting is a sturdy plastic coated chicken wire. The most time consuming part is to stretch the wire across the frame and make it tight. I recommend buying some heavy duty zip ties. We used the ties that came with the kit for just zip tying the edges together but used the heavy ones for anchoring the netting in the corners as the ones that came with the kit will break with too much tension. It took my husband and I about 4 hours to complete. It really required both of us to stretch the netting properly, in my opinion. The only other thing I would mention is that this run needs a level area to set up or it will not go together properly (no fault to the run just thought I'd mention as we had to dig out a path for the run to lay as our ground was not level.) Great run for the price and our chickens love the spacious area, just be willing and prepared to take your time while stretching the netting (and use lots of zip ties to make it tight and look nice.) Five stars!!

I especially liked the frame construction. The frame is heavy duty and I was impressed. The ease of construction was a relief. Very easy instructions and the frame was up within an hour. I was doing all the work myself. The screening, or chicken wire was a chore. Doing all the work alone, it was cumbersome, and sometimes a challenge for me to roll it our over the domed frame. Being almost 70 I will attribute this to age, but again it was cumbersome. The screening is heavy enough to keep birds of prey out, probably raccoons, cats, but if a large dog wanted to tear into the coop it could. I would suggest investing in some more sturdy zip ties to secure the screening to the coop frame. The zip ties that come with the coop are not heavy duty. I broke several tightening them down before I stopped using them and got stronger ones at my local box store. I would suggest investing in some tent stakes to secure the footing of the frame down to the ground. I bought some on Amazon and they work well. There are already pre drilled holes in the footing of the frame for tent stakes to fit into. I would also suggest investing in some underground fencing as in stop dig defense to set along the perimeter of the coop. I got some on Amazon and a pack of 25 which are 2 feet long each will go around the perimeter of the coop with 2 left over. All in all I spent just under $500 for a pretty secure predator proof coop. I will modify it with hardware cloth as I love my hens.

THIS COMES IN 2 boxes not on the same day. I ordered the heavy-duty metal and put the frame together myself in 2 hours, so it was very easy and is very strong and well made. I intend to make a greenhouse out of it later so it should work well and stand up for that. I did not use the wire they sent as it is not nearly strong enough to keep predators out, please do not expect it to be you will be very sad when you find all your chickens dead. I ordered a 100ft x 4ft wire cloth and wrapped it around the bottom. MUCH better. Our problem is snakes so we have to have a tiny mesh and NO holes. Then I used the provided wire for the top only, it should be sufficient to keep hawks out, but if a predator climbs up it can get through, we have guard dogs so I do not worry about coons etc. The long monotonous part is applying the zip ties I only used the supplied ties as helpers extra hands I used about 300 Metal zip ties. It is very strong and while preditors spend hours trying to figure out how to get to the table. I "think" I have them outwitted. But please do not expect the wire or the ties they send to work. The frame is great, but order yourself some metal ties and some wire cloth, especially for the bottom. Another tip put your parp in the middle not on the end it gives much more shade that way. and do not cut the door wire, leave it, it eliminates an entrance point. Good Luck.
