I bought the 10x20 run. Definitely a nice run for the money! The chicken wire is coated and much better quality than anticipated. Plenty of zip ties included, but you will need MANY, MANY more! Pretty easy to put together, but it is a bit time consuming. Certainly sturdy enough to keep the chickens in. Not made to keep predators out. Very happy with purchase! ... show more

My husband always says you get what you pay for and this coop wasn't exspensive. But surprisingly better then we expected. The corner braces are a big plus in making it sturdier then other options available. It was simple to assemble and the coated wire was easy to work with. Though it is thin and won't keep anything put of the coop it will keep the chickens in. My LGD will keep them safe, until we reinforce it with hardware cloth. The shade is also a big plus and seems thick. The frame isn't as sturdy as I had hoped and could have used additional braces on front and back. And the latch to the door leaves a lot to be desired. But overall for the price it is a good coop. And when we finish the chicken house will purchase a 2nd one. You couldn't build a coop for the price. We spent 4xs the price to build our ducks their pen and it is only 6x12. ... show more

trap cheap and rips when snow is on it. zip ties won't last. good concept but matl's are cheap. the chicken wire is not bad though.

I got this to use as a chicken run for my chickens. The box came a day late, but thats ok, except the box was really beat up and literally, torn in half and taped together. I thought crushed parts or missing pieces since the box was literally torn in half. To my surprise, everything inside was in great shape, not a dent anywhere and all parts are there. Small parts, screws and attachment pieces are on plastic bags, inside another really tough cloth like bag and that is inside a box inside the big box...... Pretty secure. I took my time putting this together as it is over 100 degrees out and Im pretty old and not use to this type of heat and humidity. The area this is going is sloped a little, running length wise next to my shed which is now part coop. I buried part of the frame, attached some parts to the shed, all in all, its pretty solid. I used a roll of 4 foot x 50 feet 19ga wire cloth around the based perimeter, and completely on both ends and the door. The only thing I used the chicken wire for was the roof area. I also ran that end to end. The directions show it side to side, but I have less seams going end to end, and I used the wire the rolls of 1/2" mesh and the chicken wire was wrapped with to sew it through the seam to help keep it closed, that worked out really well. I really like the whole chicken run, with the exception of the door latch..... it functions, but I dont trust it to keep out a predator like a racoon or opossum. I havent come up with anything new for that yet, but will. I also had to put 2x3 boards across the front mid section. One on each side of the door and one on the door. With the wire mesh, pulling it tight would bow the bars out next to the door leaving a huge gap, or pulling the door away from the lock. wooden braces helped that a lot, and may give me a place to install a different locking system on the door. All and all, I like it and can recommend this run for your chickens. Just need to take your time and see what you can do to make it work best for you. ... show more

Assembly was relatively easy, even though getting the chicken wire attached to the frame was a bit time consuming and required many more zip ties than what came with the kit. This is NOT predator proof in my opinion. It is very lightweight and has blown across my yard on 3 separate occasion with the wind (despite have 12 yard stakes I bought additional in fear of it blowing). The top canopy is very thin and rips easily. I would not recommend for outdoor use. ... show more

It isn’t too difficult but the instructions need improvement. For example the pictures are too small. There are hardly any written instructions. To be specific if it started on 2A pole to connect the end with the 2 holes to the corners that would have saved time from having to dismantle what you had already put together. That was frustrating. They are a nice pen for the price, I used hardware cloth instead of the cheap wire that came with it, and I used tie wire instead of the cheap zip ties it came with.
