We upgraded the bottom half of the fencing to hardware cloth for more predator protection. The frame is sturdy and the door works well. I thought it had cross bars at the bottom corners but it did not. Maybe only the big runs have that.

Put this together over the weekend and it went smoother than I expected. The instructions were clear and most of the frame came together pretty quickly. I highly recommend this frame. It’s not only easy to assemble but also very sturdy. I like the smaller grid wire on this one. We get raccoons around here and it feels a lot safer than the wider chicken wire. I also like the tarp cover since it gives them some shade during the hotter part of the day. Overall it’s been a great addition to the backyard and definitely worth the price. ... show more

This coop worked out great for my backyard chickens. It took us a little while to put together, but that was mostly because my husband and I kept chatting while we were working on it. If you stay focused, you could probably finish it pretty quickly. Once it’s done, it’s surprisingly sturdy and definitely worth it. I like the smaller grid on the mesh since it feels safer for keeping my chickens inside and unwanted visitors out. The tarp is also a nice touch for rain and hot days. Pretty happy with this coop so far. The frame came together easier than I expected, and once it was up, it actually felt pretty solid. The three sections give my chickens a lot more room than their old run, which I like. For the price, this was honestly a great deal. It’s simple but works well and fits nicely in our backyard. This chicken coop turned out to be exactly what we needed. The metal frame is solid, and the space inside is larger than I expected. My chickens now have plenty of room to walk around instead of being cramped. What really impressed me is the value for the price. Great price, but it definitely doesn’t feel cheaply made.
