This Wood Chipper Shredder design comes with a EXTRA Large Hopper for MAX volume Chipping/Shredding up to 3" MAX branches/limbs to mulch all wood to a reduction ratio of 15:1 with an elongated top adjustable discharge chute. The ability to hook up your Chipper to your own personal ATV, lawn mower/small tractor, allows for easy transportation on your land to where you need it, w/ the purchase of a Tow Bar Kit (SOLD SEPARATELY). Our Wood Chipper Shredder comes has a powerful recoil starting Rato 7 HP Horizontal 4-stroke Single Cylinder OHV Gas Powered Engine, handling up to 3" diameter wood without a problem. Fuel w/ 87+ unleaded gasoline (NO ETHANOL recommended), Max capacity of 0.7 gallons. The engine is designed to ensure the operator's safety. The chipper started on the first pull with every start and ran perfectly. I chopped up a huge pile of brush. I love the large and long feeding chute and that it sends the chips out in the same direction as the brush goes in. I can fit up to 3", but it's best not to chip anything more than 2". If you feed it too quickly, especially with large pieces it will stall out. It is a fantastic machine, especially for that price range. It was easy to assemble. It's very easy to maneuver and it's small enough that it doesn't take up much storage space. When I ordered this on September 4th 2023 I thought it was listed as $439. The invoice price was $470. Today, October 2nd 2023 it is now listed as $699. That seems like an awfully big price jump in such a short time. Maybe the price of the unit varies according to availability. ... show more

    • Great little chipper, but do not expect miracles
I bought this chipper when I moved into a +1 acre property with a lot of wild vegetations. I used this chipper on various size branches. Overall, it gets the job done. I have reduced small mountains of branches to small piles of mulch. However, it can get easily overloaded. Branches in the range of 1-1.5 inches (or less) passes through easily enough. If there is a lot of foliage, the funnel may get clogged, and it helps to have a thick branch to force through throw the clog. Branches of 2" need to be fed in a little at a time; push in a little then let the motor recover, then a little more. Anything over 2" is best disposed of in some other way. After a couple of hours, be ready to take the funnel off and sharpen the blades, while thick, they will not last forever, especially on thick hard wood. One pleasant surprise, is how well this thing mulches palm leaves; it chews up the center stem and spits out the leave, which are easily decay once separated. ... show more

Nice packaging, started right up, ran great. I am a machinist so I expect th most out if productions I complain. This unit delivered and ran as promised. Now, 3” is a push but it bogged down but did not stall for me. Day 1 cleaned up by tee branches in a few hours. I was reluctant but wish I did a video with link for compensation. This was purchased for our little homestead, we've so much debris that needs to be broken down in composting bins or burned. Gardening debris, pruning debris or fallen limbs from all the trees. It was easy to put together. If your not mechanical definitely read the instructions. I went about cleaning up some of the compost bins and tomato vines from last season, it works great for the smaller limbs and debris but what I found was it wasn't able to handle the vines.... I have grape & Muscadines and was choking the machine. It's loud so get some ear protection, it also had some little hiccups with the motor that I will hopefully be able to fine tune before I use it again. All in all 3 out of 5 isn't bad, the cost was within my budget for what I need. ... show more

I bought this thinking I was going to be able to chip up my yearly tree trimmings, boy was I wrong. I was using the chipper and all good, then I put a couple of 2" to twigs and the motor shaft twisted off, which left the chipper wheel free spinning inside and shearing off both blades. I have contact Landworks, they asked for picture so I sent them and have never heard from them since. I have included the pictures I sent them. UPDATE: I started have troubles with this in the last half of April 22. I have contacted the company and only got the run around be asked the same question repeatedly, Name, Address, Order number, what I need to fix it/whats wrong with it. On 6/28 I got a email that since I will not change my review on here once a get a tracking number for the parts, I would change it once I receive the parts. There is nothing they will do. The up side is that Amazon has refunded me the price of this chipper. So my do not buy ever review stands, as The company, Great Circle, which sells Landworks has the worst customer service. If you do buy from them, best of luck if anything goes wrong with it. Just so you know, I am one that does not usually write reviews of any kind. ... show more

    • Overall good machine
The only cons are 1. in the instructions it tells you time and time again to add oil. How much? Well don't overfill it it tells you. Would be nice to know how much oil to add rather then guessing. Otherwise the assembly is straight forward, starts easy and runs fine. Sips gas. The Ad says up to 3 inches, which is true, from a certain point of view. Three inches will fit into the chipping assembly and the first foot or so will be chipped, but if you don't pull the branch back. The motor will stall out. Easy to restart, but depending on what you are chipping could be annoying. Have chipped a standard truck bed full of chips so far with no real issues. ... show more

The chipper assembly was very easy, about 20 minutes. The setup was straight forward. Engine started very easily and has continued to start without trouble. It handles small branches with ease. The feeding of 3 inch branches needs to be managed or the chipper will bog down and potentially jam. If the chipper does jam it is easy to remove the cover plate to unjam the wood from the blades but something to be avoided as it takes about 15 minutes to complete the task. I was very happy with the build quality and the chippers performance. It also does not take a lot of gas to operate. Would buy again. ... show more
