I bought the grey shade/black base and so glad I did! I wasn't sure how the shade would look since it came rolled up but surprisingly it came out perfect with no creases. They are very easy to assemble, about 5 minutes each. The only downside is the black cord in the middle of the lamp when connecting the light bulb outlet to the base it has to be pushed down in the base which is kind of tricky. You have to move it up and down putting some pressure when pushing it down in the base. I had a little bit of cord I could not get in the base but I was able to still screw the two pieces together which covers it up. The base has a USB outlet at the bottom which is helpful when charging my phone. There are several options for the light from dim to bright with a bulb for each lamp. The size is perfect for bedside tables or living room tables. Highly recommend if you want something that looks nice while not breaking the bank. ... show more

These touch lamps are stylish and working great with a 3-way selection to match the ambiance desired settings. At the touch of the finger, the lamps turn from a softly bathed night light to a brightly lit room suitable for working or reading. I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of use and how beautiful they look at each setting. The selected black base and gray shades match my bedroom new decor. They were relatively easy to assemble (though my husband accomplished this task, not me). The lamp is balanced and weighted to help prevent tipping over. The electrical corded lamps come with LED light bulbs requiring no batteries and turning on/off at the touch of a finger. The added dual device ports provide an easy way to charge devices like my phone and tablet. It is backed with Amazon’s ease for returns within their stated time frame and conditions. The only thing I miss is washable lamp shades instead of fabric, hoping this will not be a problem later in a dusty farming community. My previous elegant rose touch lamp is still working well has washable removable gold tipped glass leaves and heavy weighted base. I purchased these so my husband and I could have matching touch lamps for both of us. I couldn’t find a matching suitable touch lamp though I searched and searched for one. Our guests will hopefully enjoy the beauty and function of my rose glass lamp’s glow and ease of use too! We are very pleased with these beautiful lamps and ease of use! Very nice looking lamp. The brushed nickel finish adds a touch of modern elegance. The lamp is much heavier than I imagined which adds stability and helps prevent me knocking it over. It has three dimmer touch settings, low-medium-high then off, in that order. I'd prefer it went the opposite way. This came with a dimmer bulb and a shade that I had to assemble, which was the most difficult part of the assembly. The instructions didn't help. The usb port works but charges my phone very slowly.
