I bought this portable AC for my bedroom, and it has worked very well so far. It cools the room much faster than I expected and is perfect for hot summer days. The setup was straightforward, and the included window kit fit nicely. I especially like the sleep mode and timer features because I can set it to run at night without worrying about turning it off. The remote control is convenient, and the unit is easy to move from one room to another. It does make some noise, as most portable air conditioners do, but it's not loud enough to disturb my sleep. Misleading headline on this A/C! This is a 5,100 BTU machine (SACC) labeled as an 8,000 BTU machine (ASHRAE). I purchased this machine and never unboxed it because it came, and clearly states 5,100 BTU on the side of the box. A 5,100 btu (SACC) only covers 150 square feet!! If it was 8000 btu (SACC), then it would cover up to 350 square feet. Buyer beware, as the return is not as simple as most Amazon returns! Have this running just about every day for over a month or 2 and not a si gle problem. Easy to set up and its not too loud but I never had a problem with noise. Doesn't take up too much space and keeps my room cool all day.

As others have stated it is only 5000 and it is loud and doesn't cool down very well...it can keep my bedroom maybe 2 degrees cooler than outside...which doesn't help much when it's 90+. Overall a complete waste of money.

super easy to install, only took about 30 minutes. every other unit we tried wouldn't fit in our tiny window. this fits as small as 52cm/20.47inches. love having air in this heat wave!
