First, the bad: The solder points on the main switch to the strip are really weak. I accidentally pulled them apart during the install, despite being as gentle as I could! Luckily my boyfriend knows how to solder, so we popped off the casing and he rejoined the points. I'm pretty sure the weak connection is the reason other reviewers report their lights blinking or not turning on. That's a bummer, so, be aware and definitely test the functionality before install. I highly recommend you PLAN OUT how you are placing everything before you start installing. The product listing shows you the lengths of all the strips and joints, so it should be pretty simple to figure out. I did not realize how everything joined at first (thought you chose your own break points) and so had to remove a couple rows of lights I had already stuck up. Luckily the seller includes a sheet of extra double stick tape so I was able to correct and re-stick with reinforcement. The instructions they include were helpful and had photos. Once I got it planned out installation was a breeze. The lights are awesome!! Dark kitchen is way brighter! I am so happy with the light temperature warmth and the brightness settings. I wish there was a color changing feature like many LED strips so we could have a cool vibe at parties, but that was not an option for the under cabinet kit. Even with the drawbacks, for the price I felt this was a great buy and am going to buy it again for the other side of my kitchen.

I was so surprised by this product. I live in a super dated condo that I rent. My kitchen is so dark so I ordered these to help (ignore the tile, ugh it’s the worst) This product did not disappoint!!! Easy to put together! Easy to apply! Just make sure you clean the surface to that it sticks properly. Renter friendly! I am definitely taking these with me when I buy my home! Get it! It’s great!

I found this device to be reasonably priced and easy to install. Purchasers should be aware that other than the very last strip, these are not trimmable to fit within a required space. You must use the full length of each strip until you reach the very last one. If you cut any of the strips, you ruin the continuity of the circuit. Sure, there are included connectors but they only fit the connector on the end of each strip. It is imperative that you thoroughly clean the surface which they will be mounted to. Otherwise, the strips will fail to adhere to the surface. If you have cabinets with a separation between them such as a range or if the cabinets are on opposing walls, you will need more than one kit. There is an included remote that I believe would operate additional kits simultaneously, so no need for multiple remotes. I believe there are 8 stages of dimming. They are plenty bright. We usually operate them on the lower settings. Available in warm white and cool white. The strip can also be operated by a built-in switch that's included. At this price, it's a relatively inexpensive installation. I'm a licensed master electrician and have been installing high-end versions of under cabinet lighting for decades. I would not hesitate to recommend this item to anyone desiring to illuminate their counter tops in a DIY manner. A simple afternoon's worth of work will produce an aesthetic illumination of your expensive counter tops.

I installed two sets of these 4000K in my kitchen. I did under cabinets and on top and I absolutely love the look. installation was fairly easy but I did have to get extra wires and solder them to the existing wires. If you don't have a soldering kit you can use connectors. Two months later, however, my lights started blinking or flashing after about 1 hour of being turned on. A few days later they were blinking right when I turned them on. Seems like a lot of people are having the issue. Just for info, I had 8 strips connected to one transformer. After blinking started I disconnected 4 leaving the rest 4 on the transformer. No blinking for a few days then it started again. After doing some research I figured it was the transformer. I checked it and it was hot to the touch so I bought a 12V, 3Amp transformer ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B095LXLBMP?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) which has the same connector and the blinking went away. So, if you like the lights, do yourself a favor and buy a better transformer instead of getting new lights.

I liked the connectors that allowed for the strips to fit where there were "bumps" in the cabinetry that I didn't want illuminated.
