I bought this awhile ago and never used it because I was able to get into my hairdresser sooner than I thought. I have platinum highlights in my hair and my natural color is a medium brown. I had to move my hair appointment 3 weeks out from my original appointment date just recently. And I already was overdue for my hair to be done. I found this in my cupboard and decided to try it…. WOW! It is amazing! My roots are about 2 inches grown out. It blended right in with my highlights! People at work thought I had gotten my hair done professionally! This product is a dream for dark hair, a nightmare for light. I have been dying my naturally salt and pepper hair for almost three decades. But until recently I had been dying my hair to dark brown or dark steel gray . And L’oreal root touchup is great for these darker colors. I could put off a root touchup for weeks by just spraying this product to cover my gray roots in the morningsI Even worked when I was light brown. It would do the trick every time, But it is horrible now that I am a platinum blonde. It does not cover the dark roots at all and is visible, looks like I smeared mustard in my hair. But thankfully it washes right out. Blonde root cover-up would might work for a greying yellow blonde, or maybe a dirty blonde who dies her hair buttery blonde? This is not for cool toned blondes.. and it does not cover up dark roots. ... show more
