These lights are tiny. So tiny that I thought I was miss some when I opened the package. They are compact and very bright. I got the white and not the off white/yellow. There's a switch to dim it and a switch to control the motion sensor. I absolutely love these tiny things.

I use these lights in motion-sensing mode in the bedroom, hallway and bathroom to light my way at night. They work exactly as advertised. Motion sensitivity is terrific - they light up even when I simply roll over at night because the only electric outlet in the room is too close. That's not the fault of the lights and it doesn't bother me anyway. Meanwhile, I never have to reach for a switch and blind myself during those necessary nighttime journeys. ... show more

There is a dimmer switch on the back, but these are still so bright I can read by them. Can't use them in most rooms. Grabbed them because of the sale and the reviews. Luckily I can use 2 in the finished basement so the kids can have the "lights out" overhead and I know they can see fine.
