Very, very nice looking. Good quality. Sturdy. Slightly "dressy" but not gaudy. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this picture frame when I pulled it out of the box, & when I opened the back and placed the photos in the frames, & every time I've looked at the frames on my fireplace mantle. If you're concerned if this will look nice with your new dream house, put your mind at ease. Just pick which color wood you want! As you can see from the photo, it has a little gold paint around the inner periphery of the frame -- and it depends on how the light hits it, how much gold you see -- these 4 frames are identical, but they photographed differently. ... show more
