Bought this to cover my AC in preparation for winter. The material seems good quality and installation wasn't terribly difficult but depending on the size of your AC, it may not look the best aesthetic wise as my AC is slightly shorter in height so there's extra flap material.

It's difficult to find an indoor cover that works with my 25,000-BTU unit for the first floor of my house, let alone easy to put on. I had some trouble with getting it on at first, since my unit is a lower profile inside. (only sticks just under 2 inches from the front of the unit to the window.) Another thing was trying to get the super thick power cord to play nice since it's a 230 volt unit vs. units that use a standard US outlet in my house. I ended up cutting another hole in the bottom right corner to feed the cable through, so I think having both bottom corners with a small opening would have been nice not only for this but for unit where the power cord is on the other side. The difference maker with this cover is the draw string. Other covers I had used in the past required me to fight for long periods of time to get over the unit and once I did there was no guarantee it would stay on but pop off somewhere down the line in the middle of the winter season. With this one and the draw string, once I got it snugged and could slowly tighten it up and walk away. Hoping this can stay on all winter/spring until I need the unit in late June/early July. ... show more

We have a permanently throught the wall installed Air conditioner. We had diligently covered the outside to keep the cold out, but with adding this inside cover, I noticed the room was much much warmer.
