Reviewing: Kwikset Henley Interior Passage Door Handle The handle on the door from the kitchen to the garage was staring to stick, so I order this as a replacement and I am SO glad that I did. Going from a round handle to a lever handle has been amazing—it’s so easy to open with your elbow when your hands are full. It’s very easy to install and fits great in the existing holes: all of the mounting stuff is standard, so all I needed was a Phillips screwdriver to take off the old one and install this one in its place. The handle attaches by sticking an Allen wrench in a little hole at its base; it holds great and they provide the required Allen wrench in the packaging. It feels very sturdy, almost ‘heavyweight’. It operates very smoothly and just feels good in your hand. It was a little more expensive than some of the other options on Amazon but I feel that I got plenty of value for the money. I’m very glad that I purchased this, and I am ordering more to replace all of my interior door handles. ... show more

Delivery packaging left a bit to be desired -- it was the item box in an Amazon bag, and the box had opened so many of the parts ended up being loose in the bag. ... show more

I needed to replace front door (only use deadbolt for locking) and wanted a lever handle outside but knob handle inside. And I wanted black exterior but all interior are oiled broze, SO... I Frankensteined two Kwikset handles together - this one working fantastically for the exterior!! It took a few tries as the tongues on door handles are not all always same orientation. But on second try, I found the perfect round knob to match this lever. All my Kwikset products have been great, easy to use, hold up well over decades of use, rekeying a breeze. this product did not come with any instructions not that it was difficult, everything installed perfectly except for that teeny tiny set screw that holds the lever on. AND no videos said the screw was reversed!!! NOT lefty loosey righty tighty. It took too much time to figure out how that simple little screw applied! but it is a good product. ... show more

A nice handle, but the instructions... are nowhere to be found. It looked like a simple job to replace the door handle. Everything went fine until I had to fix the inside door handle. At that point, I couldn't turn the screw that holds the handle in place. The tool provided was of inferior quality and both ends were round in no time. The screw was stuck. Luckily I found my own wrench and was able to turn the screw and fix the handle. Note that the screw has a reverse thread, you have to tighten the screw to move it outward to tighten it. ... show more
