I fitted Crequal gold privacy lockets to several doors and needed to match with a deadlock set as they don’t make one. This Kwikset item matches really well and works like a charm. Nice that it also allows key matching with other Kwikset locks that we have in our home

I am a big fan of Kwikset’s rekey system allowing consumers to rekey their own locks. My only complaint is the finish degrades around year 3 if exposed to the elements like rain, sprinkler systems and sun. Bad enough the lock has to be changed. A more expensive Schlage might hold up better but won’t have the self rekey feature. ... show more

We use Kwikset lock in many of our homes. They are built very well and are a great value. We have never had any quality control issues in literally 100's of locks we have installed.. this isn't the Kwikset locks that were cheap and felt that way.
