The good and the bad. The couch shipped quickly. Like others have commented, it’s fairly easy to assemble just tedious with the little wrenches. Someone else also commented about the Velcro being installed in the wrong place and I had the same issue on one of my seats. And it turned out to be the first seat I tried to assemble so I spent a good 30 minutes trying to figure out what I was doing wrong because I knew the Velcro should go in the back but it turned out the Velcro was just placed on the side of the seat instead of the rear. I’ll probably just buy some Velcro to fix it. The bottom cushions are good and comfortable, but like others have also stated, the back cushions are not very comfortable. They go flat when you lean against them but I just bought quality throw pillows and it’s fine. My biggest issue was two of my seat frames were bent. When I tried to assemble them, the seats were wonky and would not line up. I emailed the company and they were very responsive and got back to me right away. The only bummer was it took about two weeks to get my replacement parts but I have them now and everything worked out. Overall the couch seems sturdy and looks nice. My son is 6’2 and he thinks it’s a little short but this couch is one of the taller ones in this price range. I don’t want to spend more than $1000 for an outdoor couch so for what I paid this couch is fine. And I thought the customer service was good. Assembly was very easy with one exception. There is no instruction on how to attach the clips that hold the modular sections together to form the sofa. I was unable to attach them after assembly. One small back cushion cover for the corner seat section was missing from the kit. Upon notification a replacement was sent. The replacement included the small cover as well as a cover for a larger back cushion and a seat cushion cover. I was very pleased with the speed of the replacement and that even though I'd specified the missing piece, one of each size was sent. Excellent customer service for this recovery effort. Once assembled, the furniture looks great and is comfortable to sit on. It also seems very sturdy considering its light weight. ... show more

The set is very well built looks great I like the wide arm rest and it’s very comfortable. The assembly was straight forward and easy. The set came in 3 boxes within two days. I did have some shipping damages I contacted the seller and they took care of replacing all damage items very quickly.

In less than 45 minutes, two people can assemble this entire 6 piece set. No need to use your own tools during the build because both wrenches are provided in each bag of bolts nuts and feet for each piece packed boxes A and B, along with two copies of the assembly instructions. Additional Rattan strips were included in each piece so that they could be weaved over the portions where the bolts were utilized or preserved for future repairs. The cushion covers are packed separately in box C and the cushions were air compressed sealed in bags located within the backs of each piece. On our hardwood patio deck, these are quite light and simple to move around. I didn't use the heavy black C-shaped clips until we figured out the optimal configuration for the quantity of people and activity. We can use the large L or half square configuration for game night to have everyone facing our upper patio section. We can position them out wider apart throughout dinner and drinks to allow people to get up and sit without disturbing others. Before we finished assembling the set, we shrink-wrapped each of the back pillows in thick plastic, but they were completely extended and ready to use. With a thin coating of plastic to remove, the enormous square cushions are nested inside the backs or arms of the components. Box C contained the outside navy blue zipped covers. Each cushion has a zipper, allowing them to be removed and the case washed if necessary. Each side of the back cushions has tie straps as well. There are plenty of extra bolts, nuts, and tools on hand in case future maintenance is needed. ... show more

Ok so I read so many reviews and looked at all the places before buying this set. A lot of sets this size run $1k+ so I was hesitant to purchase but also didn’t want to spend $1k on an outdoor sofa set. I put this together by myself, 36 year old female and it took me about 7 hours. Directions were ok but mainly just time consuming with the little Allen wrench. I did have to have my husbands help when attaching them together with the ‘u’ hooks. It seemed almost impossible but the directions stated to boil them. So we did and after that it went right on. Weird but it worked. Some reviews stated that parts were missing or arrived broken. This was not the case for us. Packaged perfectly, all parts and nothing broken. (Product does come in 3 shipments). Overall pleased with the set. Looks nice and seems sturdy. I plan to spray it with scotch guard to help protect the fabric. Fingers crossed it holds up well! ... show more
